DEVICES AND METHODS FOR FLOW CONTROL OF OPHTHALMIC FORMULATIONS
A flow control device for a compressible bottle may include a reservoir, the reservoir comprising an ophthalmic formulation disposed therein, the ophthalmic formulation comprising an ophthalmic agent and a preservative; a reservoir interface, disposed at a mouth of the reservoir, the reservoir interface comprising one or more apertures, the one or more apertures in the reservoir interface fluidically connecting an interior of the reservoir and an exterior of the reservoir; a nozzle, the nozzle comprising: an outlet and a nozzle cap, the nozzle cap comprising one or more apertures, the one or more apertures in the nozzle cap fluidically connecting the outlet and a reservoir-facing surface of the nozzle; and an axis of rotation, wherein rotation of the nozzle about the axis of rotation relative to the reservoir aligns the one or more apertures in the reservoir interface with the one or more apertures in the nozzle cap.
FLUID DISPENSING DEVICE
A fluid device generally comprises a staging reservoir which may receive a volume of fluid flowing from a primary reservoir via a coupler upon operation of an actuator, wherein the staging reservoir is usable to measure fluid within the device in order to dispense a desired amount of fluid.
Valve and associated methods
A container (5) comprising a valve (10) with a valve member (12) and a valve seat (14). The container (5) has a retainer for retaining the valve member (12). The valve (10) defines a flowpath between the valve member (12) and the valve seat (14), the flowpath being selectively openable by movement of at least a portion of the valve member (12) away from the valve seat (14) in response to suction. The flowpath does not pass through any aperture within the valve member (12).
SELF-CLOSING DISPENSING VALVE MADE OF A PLASTOMER OR A THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER
A self-closing dispensing valve is made of an elastic material and includes a valve head with a dispensing orifice, a circular peripheral retaining flange spaced apart from the valve head in an axial direction, and a connector sleeve integrally connected with the valve head on one end and the retaining flange on another end. The elastic material is a plastomer or a thermoplastic elastomer. The connector sleeve is substantially form stable. The valve head is connected to an upper end of the connector sleeve by a hinge portion that is U-shaped in cross section. The wall thickness of the hinge portion is smaller than the wall thickness of the connector sleeve and is staggered at the transition between the connector sleeve and the hinge portion. Alternatively, if the connector sleeve is omitted, then the valve head is directly connected to the retaining flange.
Flip-top dispensing closure
A flip-top dispensing closure is provided and comprises a base which is attachable to a container and a lid attached to the base by a hinge. The base includes a dispensing passage; a syringe of the type comprising a barrel and a terminal tip is insertable into the passage. The closure further comprises a flexible self-closing valve for closing the passage. In use the syringe is inserted into the passage so that the tip passes through the valve to access product, and thereafter when the syringe is withdrawn the valve wipes against the syringe tip.
Improved Drainage Bucket
Implementations of a bucket comprising improved drainage systems and mechanisms may provide for ease of emptying a bucket of substances without the user needing to bend or reach down to manipulate the bucket or drainage mechanism, and may optionally provide for enhanced filtering capabilities.

HYDRATION SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.
