Pediatric dosing dispenser
A package that is configured to store and dispense fluids. The package includes a container and a dosing dispenser for closing an opening to the container. The dosing dispenser includes a body portion having a syringe receiver and a valve assembly that is configured to permit the flow of fluid from the container to the syringe.
LIQUID DISPENSER
Liquid dispenser for discharging pharmaceutical liquid having a discharge head and a cap, the cap body of which has a ventilation opening. The dispenser includes an injection-moulded pull-off portion which, in the delivery state, covers the ventilation opening and is connected to the cap body by a substance-to-substance bond. The pull-off portion, together with a tamper-evident portion, which, with the dispenser in the delivery state, prevents removal of the cap body, is part of a common segment which is detachable from the cap body of the cap. Alternatively, the ventilation opening is provided with a filter membrane for filtering the air which flows through it, and the cap body includes two part-bodies which together form a receiving space for the filter membrane.
Closure assembly for squeeze bottle comprising a thermoplastic valve
A closure assembly includes a valve for containing a substance in a squeeze bottle, a multi-layer material for providing a valve for such a closure assembly, a method for providing such a multi-layer material and a method for providing such a closure assembly. The closure assembly includes a closure cap with a cap part and a body part, a valve arranged in the body part of the closure cap, and an induction element. The induction element is arranged in the closure cap body part for induction sealing a loop shaped peripheral section of the valve to a loop shaped attachment surface of the closure cap body part.
Bottle caps with multi-position valves
Disclosed are embodiments of bottle caps that comprise a rigid body configured to be secured to an opening of a bottle, a multi-position valve coupled to the body for regulating fluid flow through the cap, and a lid coupled to the body that can cover the valve. The cap can be adjustable between at least a closed position, a selectively open position, and a fully open position. In the closed position, the lid covers the multi-position valve and fluid flow through the multi-position valve is prevented. In the selectively open position, the lid is uncovered from the multi-position valve and the multi-position valve is operable to open to allow fluid flow when a flexible portion of the multi-position valve is squeezed by a user. In the fully open position, the lid is uncovered from the multi-position valve and fluid can flow freely through the multi-position valve.
CONTAINER, CLOSURE, AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURE
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to contain and dispense a fluid, such as a thixotropic fluid. In some embodiments, a bottle having a closure cap includes a control device, a base, and a disk, where the base and disk define a mixing chamber configured to facilitate mixing of any serum or liquid separated from the fluid back therein. In some embodiments, a dispensing bottle includes a non-removable closure cap with a tamper evident feature that indicates whether the cap was previously opened. By one approach, the dispensing bottle includes discontinuous threads on a bottle neck and ratchet projections on a closure cap that engage the discontinuous thread(s) to prevent or inhibit manual removal of the cap from the bottle.
INSERT TO REDUCE LIKELIHOOD OF CONTAMINATION THROUGH BACKWASH AND CONTAINER WITH SAME
An insert may be used with a container that includes a lid with a suction opening and a liquid storage portion where the lid threads onto the liquid storage portion to allow liquid from the liquid storage portion to be consumed through the suction opening by a user. The insert includes a barrier with an outer perimeter that is configured to be captured, and form a seal against liquid, between the lid and the liquid storage portion when the lid is threaded onto the liquid storage portion; a first one-way valve through the barrier and configured to allow the liquid to flow from the liquid storage portion to the suction opening during consumption of the liquid by the user; and a second one-way valve configured to allow air to flow into the liquid storage portion.

Container lid and damming insert constructions
Hot consumable container lid constructions and damming insert constructions enable a user/drinker to selectively transfer heat from a relatively hot assembly-contained beverage so as to cool the beverage before it enters the user's/drinker's mouth, and/or prevent inadvertent spillage of the hot consumable so as to avoid scalding of the user. A consumable damming formation is formed in adjacency to the primary outlet for redirecting liquid movement(s) and/or preventing spillage of the liquid before it exits the primary outlet. Certain lid assembly methodologies are also described, which methodologies provide the reader with a more thorough understanding of how the invention functions to achieve the objectives here briefly described.
Two-part dispensing closure system with internal seal and methods of using the same
A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.
