Compounder apparatus
A system including a containment assembly for enclosing a medication container may comprise a first housing portion or interface portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The interface portion may include a housing wall which defines a channel spanning from the proximal end to the distal end. The channel may be open at the proximal and distal end. The containment assembly may further comprise only two pierceable septa configured to form a barrier to the channel. The containment assembly may further comprise a variable-volume housing portion having a variable volume chamber. The variable-volume portion chamber of the variable-volume housing portion may be in fluid communication with the distal end of the channel.
Mouth cap for liquid container
A plug member integrally includes a base portion (35a) attached to a plug holder (31) to be mounted on a mouth portion of a container, a plug (34) engaged with an engagement portion (31c) provided in an outlet passage of the plug holder (31), and a resilient connection portion (35b) resiliently connecting the plug (34) to the base portion (35a). Before the first use, the outlet passage is closed with the plug member. In the first use, the container is squeezed to increase the internal pressure of the container. Thus, the plug (34) is disengaged from the engagement portion (31c) by the internal pressure. The outlet passage is thereafter constantly kept open.
Female enteral coupling
A container for collecting, transporting, storing, delivering and dispensing fluid. The container has a hollow tube with an outer circumference diameter and is configured to receive a plunger. A collection adaptor and a dispensing adaptor provide interchangeable coupling of a variable volume container such as a syringe with a collection device such as a breast pump and a dispensing device such as a nipple. The container also has a circumferential seal assembly secured at one end of the hollow tube. The seal assembly outer diameter is substantially similar to the hollow tube outer diameter.
Locking lid
A vessel with a locking lid has a spindle button. The spindle but has downwardly facing button teeth. The lid frame receives the spindle button in a vertical sliding configuration. The actuator gear is mounted under the spindle button in the lid frame. The actuator gear engages the downwardly facing button teeth. The spindle button is configured to move the actuator gear by one step when the spindle button is pressed down. A lid frame inside surface has an upper engagement and a lower engagement. The actuator gear is configured to alternate between the upper engagement and the lower engagement when the actuator gear moves by one step. A spindle body abuts and is biased upwardly against the actuator gear. The spindle body actuates locking arms mounted on locking arm pivots formed on the spindle body.
Personal dispensing systems
A personal aqueous dispensing system (PADS) and a personal oil dispensing system (PODS) feature common components each with a drip-catch. Both systems utilize nitrogen to extend the life of a consumable liquid or oil. The PODS incorporates a vent to facilitate flow of air into a bottle by preventing formation of airlock. Both systems feature dispensing control using a quarter turn rotation to control dispensing flow and both include a lid. The dispensing systems also features a switching device that triggers the filling of bottles with nitrogen.
Container with Molded Bag on Valve Assembly
The present disclosure provides a container and a process for producing the container. In an embodiment, the process includes placing a sleeve bag on valve assembly (SBoV) in a blow mold apparatus. The blow mold apparatus has two opposing and movable molds. The SBoV has a valve seat. The process includes extending a parison of flowable polymeric material around the SBoV and between the opposing molds. The process includes moving the opposing molds to a closed position and pressing an upstream portion of the parison against the valve seat. The process includes blow molding a downstream portion of the parison into a container-shape within the closed mold. The process includes forming a container with the valve seat melt bonded to a neck portion of the container.
Container with outlet
This invention relates to containers of the kind having an outlet through which product is to be dispensed, e.g. food product. There is provided a container for product to be dispensed. The container has an upper part intended to move or deform in order to reduce the volume within the container. The container has an outlet intended to open during movement or deformation of said upper part. The outlet comprises a plurality of movable parts. The outlet further comprises a plurality of fixed parts located between said movable parts. The movable and fixed parts are arranged for shaping product as it is dispensed from the container through the outlet. A method of dispensing and a vending machine for dispensing portions of ice cream or other frozen product from the container are also provided.
Travel mug lid
A travel mug lid includes a first lid member and a closing mechanism. The first lid member includes a button opening. The closing mechanism includes a button, a core and a flexible material connected with the core. The button moves with respect to the core. The button includes a terminal portion that extends through or into the button opening. The button moves at least a portion of the flexible material with respect to the first lid member to selectively prevent flow of liquid through the drinking passage. The button and the core are isolated from liquid in the cup at least partially by the flexible material.
Liquid dispensing device
A liquid dispensing device for allowing a user to drink liquid therefrom in a hands-free manner. The liquid dispensing device includes a container having a spring-loaded stopper therein, and further including an elongated tube having a mouthpiece thereon that extends from an end of the container. In operation, a user can fill the container with a liquid causing the spring loaded stopper to retract so that it is under tension. When the user wishes to drink the liquid, the user can bite the bite valve of the mouthpiece which enables water to be released from the container and into a tube connected to the mouthpiece. The spring pushes the stopper towards the mouthpiece and thus the liquid within the container is pushed through the tube to the mouthpiece so the user may drink therefrom.
Liquid dispensing device
A liquid dispensing device includes a dispensing end piece and a neck of a reservoir for storing the liquid, the end piece being attached to the neck, which has a tubular internal surface. The end piece has a tubular internal skirt that is mounted in the neck and defines, with the internal surface, at least one annular sealing zone, preventing the liquid from passing between the internal skirt and the neck. The skirt defines, with the internal surface, a separate zone for retaining shavings, which prevents shavings that are formed in the sealing zone while the end piece is being fitted into the neck from getting into the reservoir.
