A cap structure may include a base and a cap, where the base may include a periphery configured to be mounted over a rim of an opening of a container. The base may include a hollow neck, extending from the base for facilitating flow of liquid from the container through and out of the neck. The neck may include a flange extending annularly around the neck, so as to define an annular step. The cap may include a plurality of inwardly protruding projections, configured to snap over the step when the cap is mounted over the neck.

A closure for a container, and more specifically a closure that is selectively openable and/or lockable providing, for example, one or more child resistant opening features is disclosed.

A child-resistant container and closure, wherein the container include a base and an upstanding wall defining an inner volume of the container. The container has an open top for gaining access into the inner volume of the container. A cylindrical neck extends upwards from a periphery of the open top of the container. An outer surface of the neck has at least three lug threads that consecutively run along the circumference of the neck. A first lower pointer can be provided just below the neck which points upwards. A skirt of the closure has at least three male threads, wherein the at least three male threads of the closure can engage with the at least three lug threads of the container for securing the closure to the container. The outer surface of the skirt has a first upper pointer which points downwards, wherein the first upper pointer and the first lower pointer are positioned such that at least three male threads and the at least three lug threads can engage and disengage only when the first upper pointer is aligned to the first lower pointer.

In one embodiment there is provided a bottle assembly to dispense a liquid. The assembly includes a bottle, a syringe, a cap and collar. The assembly includes a child-resistant adult-friendly retaining portion to permit the removal of the cap and collar. The syringe is configured to draw liquid from the bottle at a precise dosage and then when the cap and collar is removed the user can expel the liquid.

An animal resistant canister having a canister body with a first end and second end and an inner wall and outer wall wherein the first end is open, and the second end is enclosed. A cap removably attachable to the first end, wherein the cap has an inner cap and an outer cap, the outer cap can have one or more dog supports coupled to the outer cap and one or more dogs wherein the dogs are coupled to the dog supports to allow the dogs to pivot about an axis. The inner cap is rotatable relative to the outer cap and can have one or more ramps that when the inner cap is rotated the ramps push the dogs outward towards the inner wall of the canister body when the inner cap is rotated relative to the outer cap.

A dispensing closure is provided and comprises a base and a lid. The base includes a sidewall closed at one end by a top deck including a dispensing orifice. The base and lid are joined by a hinge to allow the lid to move between closed and open positions with respect to the base whereby to close and open the dispensing orifice. At the periphery of the top deck the sidewall forms or provides a raised lip. The lid closes onto the top deck and is bounded by the lip and the lid is generally flush with the lip when in the closed position.

An improved lid and pail combination provides a child resistant connection for use with pails.
