WEARABLE RESISTANCE DEVICE WITH POWER MONITORING
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable biomechanics units and or resistance modules. The garment may provide resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and or tracks a variety of biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing or athletic uniform. The device may be worn as a supplemental training and or diagnostic tool during conventional training protocols, or as a biomechanics or biometric data capture device during competition.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RESISTANCE CALIBRATION AND DIGITIZATION FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A system and method for using resistance type exercise machines is provided. One embodiment provides a tailored resistance level (TRL) that indicates a resistance level for that particular user and that particular exercise machine. The TRL, calculated for a particular user and a particular exercise machine, is based on three concurrently measured variables: the user biometric (such as heart rate), cadence of the user's effort, and measured resistance value (measured as the degrees of angular rotation of the resistance knob 104 of the exercise machine).
TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.
Device for neurovascular stimulation
The invention relates to a device for neurovascular stimulation, at least comprising: at least one brain activity sensor, at least one cardiovascular sensor, at least one computing unit and at least one output unit. The computing unit comprises at least one task algorithm, wherein signals of at least the brain activity sensor and the cardiovascular sensor can be received by the computing unit, and wherein a task, which is in correlation with at least the signals from at least the brain activity sensor and the signals of the cardiovascular sensor, can be determined by means of the task algorithm and can be output by means of the output unit.
Wireless Power System for an Exercise Machine
A wireless power system for an exercise machine for providing electrical power wirelessly to an electrical energy storage device or electrical energy consuming device attached to a movable carriage of an exercise machine. The wireless power system for an exercise machine generally includes an exercise machine which includes a frame having one or more rails. A carriage is movably positioned upon the rails to allow an exerciser to move the carriage when performing an exercise. A wireless power receiver is attached to the carriage that wirelessly receives electrical energy transferred from a wireless power transmitter. An electrical energy storage device or an electrical energy consuming device attached to the movable carriage is electrically connected to the wireless power receiver to receive electrical power from the wireless power receiver.
System for sensor-based objective determination
The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. In general, sensor data may be used to render objective determinations that were not previously possible due to the unavoidable subjectivity of human-based officiating systems. For example, at least one device may be configured to make objective determinations during the course of a sporting event. Data collection circuitry may receive data from sensor devices coupled to players, equipment, playing surfaces, etc. Data analysis circuitry may categorize the data and input the data into a model to determine if an infraction occurred. For example, categorization may involve determining a type of infraction that may have occurred based on the sensor data. The model may then be selected based on the type of infraction, the model being developed utilizing prior sensor data, rules for the sporting event, etc. Output circuitry may generate a notification based on the infraction determination.
DEVICE FOR EVALUATING BODY TEMPERATURE REGULATING FUNCTION, AIR PROCESSING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING BODY TEMPERATURE REGULATING FUNCTION
The method for evaluating the body temperature regulating function includes: acquiring an autonomic index of a target; acquiring a perspiration index of the target; and evaluating the body temperature regulating function of the target by using the autonomic index of the target and the perspiration index of the target. In one preferred embodiment, the autonomic index includes at least one of a heart rate variability index or a pulse rate variability index, and the perspiration index includes at least one of a skin conductance change or an amount of perspiration.
