In some embodiments, systems and methods provide a customer controlled cart workout. Some systems, comprise: a cart coordination control circuit; a shopping cart comprising a cart control system, a wireless transceiver and a resistance modification system configured to adjust a resistance level corresponding to different amounts of force to be applied in physically moving the cart along a surface; wherein the cart coordination control circuit is configured to: associate the shopping cart with a first identified customer; wirelessly communicate with a first user interface unit associated with the first customer; receive, through a cart resistance control software application (APP) operated on the first user interface unit, a resistance control instruction specifying a modification to the resistance level; and communicate a resistance adjustment instruction to the cart control system causing the resistance modification system to adjust the resistance level applied to the shopping cart.

Wireless power system for an exercise machine

A wireless power system for an exercise machine for providing electrical power wirelessly to an electrical energy storage device or electrical energy consuming device attached to a movable carriage of an exercise machine. The wireless power system for an exercise machine generally includes an exercise machine which includes a frame having one or more rails. A carriage is movably positioned upon the rails to allow an exerciser to move the carriage when performing an exercise. A wireless power receiver is attached to the carriage that wirelessly receives electrical energy transferred from a wireless power transmitter. An electrical energy storage device or an electrical energy consuming device attached to the movable carriage is electrically connected to the wireless power receiver to receive electrical power from the wireless power receiver.

TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS

Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.

DYNAMIC PROPRIOCEPTION

A wearable device such as a garment is disclosed, having at least one resistance element at a motion segment such as a hip or knee. The garment includes at least one sensor, for sensing a parameter. Electronics are provided for processing the sensed parameter, and for providing feedback. Feedback may be in the form of proprioceptive tactile or audible feedback, or in the form of an adjustment of a performance parameter of the wearable device. In one implementation, resistance to movement of the wearer is adjusted up or down in response to changes in power output by the wearer.

PROVIDING INSIGHTS BASED ON HEALTH-RELATED INFORMATION

Examples are disclosed herein that relate to integrating health data and calendar data of one or more users and providing insights for a selected user to help the user accomplish an outcome of interest. The insights may be identified based on a group of cohorts determined to be similar to the selected user and/or used to predict a likelihood that the selected user will achieve an outcome of interest. Additional insights may be provided by monitoring an effect that following a recommendation has on the selected user achieving the outcome of interest. Recommendations and/or updates to recommendations may be provided based on the insights.

INFORMATION OUTPUT SYSTEM, INFORMATION OUTPUT METHOD, AND INFORMATION OUTPUT PROGRAM

Activity Recognition with Activity Reminders

An athletic performance monitoring system, for motivating a user to reach a goal level of athletic activity. The system may motivate the user by calculation a deficit between a current total level of activity and the goal level of athletic activity, and suggesting activity types that the user may carry out an order to reach the goal level, wherein the suggested activity types may be based on activities that are geographically close to the user, or sporting equipment worn by, or in possession of, the user.
