Storage containers
Filtered storage containers for hazardous waste, such as radioactive waste, more particularly plutonium in the form of oxides and salts, are made of stainless steel and include lids which are retained by retaining rings that utilize bayonet or ratchet closures that cooperate with rims that are integral with cans to hold the lids in place. Sealing arrangements are provided that each include an O-ring of a circular cross section which seals radially between the lid and rim, as well as a seal of cruciform cross section, which seal provides compression sealing between the lid and an annular shelf within the rim upon locking the retaining ring to the rim with the bayonet or ratchet fitting.
Lid for containers under vacuum
A closure includes an overcap having an annular skirt, and an annular wall extending inwardly from the skirt. A lid is carried by the overcap radially within the annular skirt, and includes a hub, and an annular margin extending radially outwardly with respect to the hub, and having upper and lower surfaces. An annular container seal extends circumferentially continuously around the annular margin. One or more vents may extend through the annular margin between the upper and lower surfaces thereof at one or more discrete circumferential locations radially inward with respect to the container seal. One or more vent seals may be disposed at the one or more vents between the lid and the overcap.
Environmentally sensitive container assembly
An environmentally sensitive container assembly for curing cannabis includes a jar that has cannabis positioned therein for the purposes of curing the cannabis. A disk is positionable on the jar for closing the jar. A humidistat is coupled to the disk to detect humidity levels in the jar. A thermometer is coupled to the disk to detect a temperature in the jar. A display is coupled to the disk, the display displays temperature indicia for communicating the temperature in the interior of the jar and the display displays humidity indicia for communication the humidity in the interior of the jar. A lid is removably coupled to the jar and compresses the disk against the jar to close the jar.

MASON JAR VALVED-LID COMPONENT AND KIT FOR USE IN FERMENTATION
The present disclosure is directed to a lid component for use with a jar and a band. The jar and band may be a mason jar and a band for a mason jar. The lid component is made of an air-impermeable material and is dimensioned and configured to be releasably attachable to the jar by the band and to seal a wide mouth opening of the jar in an air-tight manner. The lid component comprises a one-way valve adapted to allow gas to escape from the jar while, at the same time, prevent air from entering the jar, when the lid component is releasably attached to the jar. The one-way valve comprises a bottom opening and a protruding top wall. The lid component further comprises a sealing wall that extends radially outwardly from the bottom opening. The sealing wall is substantially flat.
APPARATUS FOR AN IMPROVED HPP JAR
A food preparation jar. The jar has a jar that accepts a lid. The lid having grooves inside to couple with the grooves on the upper portion of the jar. The lid further having a sealing ring that provides a secure and air-tight seal when the jar is heated and cooled.
CONTAINER WITH A LID AND THREADED CLOSURE MECHANISM
The container with a lid and threaded closure mechanism includes a receptacle having a mouth surrounded by a thread, a lid, a sealing ring and a closure mechanism formed by a disc with a hollow interior and a perimetral tubular skirt provided with an engagement configuration complementary to the thread of the receptacle. The closure mechanism surrounds the lid and holds it against the mouth of the receptacle by means of a threaded attachment between the engagement configuration of the closure mechanism and the thread of the receptacle, assuring proper hermetic closure of the lid with the receptacle in cooperation with the sealing ring. The lid and the closure mechanism have mutually engaging elements with a complementary non-circular geometry and size, with both elements being tightly fitted preventing relative rotation of the closure mechanism with respect to the lid.
LIDS FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
The invention relates to lids for beverage containers and related methods, for example, a lid to fit within the screw on compression assembly found on standard canning jars to adapt the container to improve a user's ability to consume liquids directly from the vessel. Lids according to certain embodiments of the invention can be used with a wide range of containers like jars, so that the containers can be conveniently used to consume a beverage while avoiding spilling and facilitating extended use and recycling of the containers.

Mason jar valved-lid component and kit for use in fermentation
A lid component for use with a glass jar and band of a mason jar, and a fermentation kit comprising these components. The lid component is made of an air-impermeable material and is dimensioned and configured to be releasably attachable to the jar by the band and to seal the wide mouth opening of the glass jar in an air-tight manner. The lid component further comprises a one-way valve adapted to allow gas produced by a fermentation process occurring inside the jar to escape from the jar while, at the same time, prevent oxygen-containing air from entering the jar, when the lid component is releasably attached to the jar.
