Vented overcap and lid

A closure that includes an overcap and a lid carried by the overcap. The overcap has an annular skirt extending along a longitudinal axis for coupling the closure to a container, and an overcap web extending continuously radially inwardly from the annular skirt. The lid is carried radially within the annular skirt. The lid has an annular rim radially proximate to the annular skirt of the overcap, for the sealing the closure to the container. A lid web extends radially inwardly from the annular rim, and has at least one vent therethrough, and is coupled to the overcap around the vent.

VENTED BEVERAGE CAN AND CAN END

A beverage can end has a vent (40) that includes a button (50). The vent is actuated by downward force of a pull tab (70) that is transmitted to the vent score (42) through the button. The center panel (18) includes beads.

SEALING MECHANISM FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER

An openable and closeable lid assembly is provided for a beverage container. The lid assembly comprises a lid housing, an actuator and a seal. The lid housing has an upper surface with a drink aperture and an actuator aperture extending therethrough. The actuator extends through the actuator aperture and is positionable in an open position, where liquid can pass through the drink aperture, and a closed position, where the drink aperture is closed. A seal is provided adjacent the actuator aperture. The seal seals against the actuator and the lid housing to prevent liquid from escaping out the actuator aperture.

PORTABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER CONTAINING A MIXER

The present invention discloses a pressing pump and a liquid container. The pressing pump comprises a pump body, a one-way valve, a valve stem assembly, a pressing head and an annular part. The pump body is provided with an accommodating cavity. The annular part is inserted into the accommodating cavity, and the outer circumference of the annular part sealably abuts against an inner wall of the accommodating cavity. The pressing head is provided with a second channel which communicates with the first channel. The second channel has a first opening which is disposed on the side wall of the pressing head close to the pump body and is located at an outer side of the annular part. The pressing pump provided in the present invention can reduce the circumstances in which external moisture enters the interior of the pump body, and improve the waterproof performance.

PORTABLE INSULATED LUNCH BOX

Provided is a portable insulated lunch box, including: a box body (1) and a cover body (2) adapted to the box body (1); the cover body (2) defines a mounting cavity (4) passing vertically through the cover body (2), an upper opening of the mounting cavity (4) is arranged with a pressing member (5), and multiple locking members (6), that are transversely, elastically, and movably connected, are arranged in the mounting cavity (4); an outer end of each locking member (6) passes through a cavity wall of the mounting cavity (4), and an inner end of each locking member (6) is arranged with an internal push bevel (7) matched with a lower edge of the pressing member (5); an inner side wall of the box body (1) is arranged with multiple clamping grooves (8) each matched with the outer end of a corresponding locking member (6).

Method and apparatus for readmitting air into airtight containers
09573740 · 2017-02-21 ·

The present invention is a method and apparatus for readmitting air into vacuum containers, such as canning jars, by incorporating a flexibly-mounted check valve in the container lid or body, and sandwiching an elastomeric seal member, such as an O Ring, between the check valve and the vacuum container's lid or wall. The check valve is flexibly mounted to the airtight container by a retainer member that permits the check valve to move vertically and horizontally and compresses the elastomeric seal member sufficiently to prevent leakage. Air is readmitted into the vacuum container by applying a force to the check valve that sufficiently decompresses a segment of the elastomeric seal member to cause leakage. The displacement force on the check valve may be applied by hand, without using any tools.

Can end having a main score and a score extension

A beverage can end for seaming onto a can body may include a peripheral wall, a center panel, a tab attached to the center panel by a rivet (56), a tear panel (41b), a main reference line (RM), a transverse reference line (RT), and a score (31b). The score may include arcuate main score (31b) that defines a main portion of the tear panel (41b) and a score extension (32b) that defines a vent portion. The score may be configured such that actuation of the tab from its horizontal rest position to an intermediate position ruptures the main score portion (31b) to pivot the tear panel main portion (40b) about the hinge and further actuation of the tab by twisting from the intermediate position ruptures the score extension (32b).
