Stackable and Ventable Containers
A container includes a base, a lid, and a hinge that connects the base and lid. The containers may be configured to be vertically stackable in an closed position and still permit venting via vents in the lid of each container. The containers may also be nested in an open position with indentations in the base to facilitate separation of the containers. The indentations may be in one of two positions with an alternating pattern when the containers are in the nested arrangement.
Resealable closure for a beverage container including concealed electronic device
A closure for containers providing a seal when closed. A pull tab lifted to open provides a venting action, and a pour opening. A sanitary platform covers a drinking area around the pour opening. Closure contains electronic device components triggered to engage a user in games of chance through the use of a cellular phone.
Air-tight storage container system
An air-tight storage container system has a container having an open top and a container closure unit configured to be placed over the top. The closure unit has a series of stacked, interlocking components, including a handle member, a flexible deformable gasket member, a snap inner piece, and a bottom member. When these closure unit components are interconnected and the closure unit itself is positioned atop the container, the closure unit is pushed and rotated, held within the container to establish an air-tight seal within the container.
Lid of a container
The invention relates to a lid (100) of a container, especially a beverage can, comprising a substantially flat lid surface (101) and a preferably folded edge area (102), as well as at least one pouring opening (103) provided on the lid surface (101), which can be closed in a gas- and/or liquid-tight manner by means of at least one closure element (120), with the closure element (120) being movable from a closed position into an open position by means of an actuating element (110), the actuating element (110) comprises a fixing element (111) and a sliding element (113), and the fixing element (111) is connected to at least one connecting element (115) via at least one predetermined breaking point before opening for the first time and the fixing element (111) has a handle (114) which, upon movement of the fixing element (111) from the closed position into the open position, acts on the at least one predetermined breaking point via at least one edge (114a).
Self-sealing container for protecting air sensitive samples
A self-sealing container, used for transferring one or more air sensitive samples between vacuum systems, includes a housing with a cavity that holds the sample(s), and a lid disposed on top of the housing. The lid is configured to interface with the housing to form a seal over the cavity when the lid is closed. At least two flexure systems, each coupled to the housing and the lid, are disposed on opposing sides of the housing. The flexure systems apply forces to the lid that move the lid horizontally and vertically above the housing, into an open position. A pneumatic actuator, movably coupled to the housing and the lid, that is actuated by a change in ambient pressure. When actuated, it applies forces that move the lid horizontally and vertically to the closed position, in opposition to and in excess of the forces applied by the flexure systems.
PRESSURE RELIEF CAP
A pressure relief cap includes a body engageable with a container and rotatable about an axis to couple or decouple the body from the container, a handle is coupled to the body and rotatable about the axis in a loosening direction and an opposite, tightening direction and, a ring member coupled for co-rotation with the handle in the loosening direction. The cap includes relief valve assembly coupled to the body. The ring member and the body include a lost motion region in which the ring member is rotatable relative to the body in the loosening direction. Rotation of the ring member relative to the body in the loosening direction in the lost motion region opens the relief valve assembly. Rotation of the ring member in the loosening direction beyond the lost motion region causes the body to co-rotate with the ring member in the loosening direction.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE PACKAGING
The present invention pertains in general to an apparatus and method for the modification of atmosphere in the packaging of perishable items, such as food items, for increased longevity. Embodiments include apparatus and methods which provide a customizable mix of gasses dependent upon the food being stored, and process for the monitoring of estimated pressurized gas canisters remaining within a vessel providing pressurized gasses.
Container for Providing Aromatic Sampling and Visualization of Contents
Aspects of the present invention disclose and describe embodiment containers for displaying, visualizing, and aroma sampling botanical materialssuch as tea, cannabis, and the like including a container body, lid, and lenswhich may have various shapes. In a preferred embodiment, lid is shaped to define a recessed area with scent openings permitting aroma sampling of a sample contained within. A removable plug is shaped to fit within the recessed area of the lid. The container body and lid, with removable plug fit within the lid, form an airtight chamber within. A botanical sample may be visualized through the lens.
DEVICE FOR PREVENTING LEAKAGE OF GAS WITHIN CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a device for preventing leakage of gas within a container, and more particularly, to a device for preventing leakage of gas within a container, wherein the device prevents gas contained in a beverage from leaking to the outside. To this end, the device for preventing leakage of gas within a container according to the present invention includes: a fixing tool having a certain thickness and divided into two or more parts; a first fastening member that has a hollow pipe shape and is divided into two or more parts in the longitudinal direction, the first fastening member having a mounting part, which is formed on the inside of an upper end and into which a portion of the fixing tool is inserted, and having threads, which are formed on the inside and outside of the lower end; a coupling member coupled to the threads formed on the outside of the lower end of the first fastening member so that the first fastening members divided into two or more parts are fixed while coupled to each other; a second fastening member having a hollow pipe shape and having a sealing mounting part, which is formed on the upper end and into which a portion of sealing is inserted, the second fastening member being inserted into the first fastening member by the threads formed on the outside thereof; a perforation member which is inserted into the second fastening member, has a hollow pipe shape, has at least one through-hole formed in an upper end that is cone-shaped, and has a lower end that is open; and a pressing member into which the lower end of the perforation member is inserted.
End closure with a ring pull actuated secondary vent
The present invention relates to a container end closure that generally comprises a pour opening and a secondary vent opening which improves venting during emptying of contents from the container. In particular, the present invention relates to an end closure for a container having scores defining a secondary vent opening which may optionally be opened. The secondary vent opening has a significantly larger area then vents of prior art designs and thereby improves pour rate and smoothness of pour. After the pour opening is opened using a pull tab interconnected to the end closure, a consumer may selectively open the secondary vent opening by pulling back on the tab.
