A container (200) is provided. The container (200) comprises a mouth (202), a cap (204) for operably exposing or closing the mouth (202), a sealing layer (206) on top of the mouth (202) and a security label (208) which is scannable. At least a portion (204a) of the cap (204) is transparent. The security label (208) is disposed over the sealing layer (206) below the transparent cap (204) and the security label (208) is machine scannable.

A container includes: a container body; a cap to seal the container body; an identification code on a top surface of the cap; and multiple concaves on the container body. The multiple concaves on the container body forms a first image having a first area, the identification code on the cap forms a second image having a second area smaller than the first area, the container body has a first diffuse reflectance difference between the first image and a portion excluding the first image, and the identification code has a second diffuse reflectance difference between a code portion and a background portion excluding the code portion in the second image. The second diffuse reflectance difference is larger than the first diffuse reflectance difference.

An application container includes a main body that holds an application material, a cap, and a weakened portion that connects the cap to an outer peripheral surface of the main body. The main body has a tubular shape that extends in an axial direction and forms an opening to expose the application material. The cap overlaps the opening of the main body in the axial direction. The weakened portion is oriented substantially in a circumferential direction of the main body, at a position that is located away from the opening in the axial direction of the main body, and is configured to be split in response to an external force, so as to separate the cap from the main body.

Provided is a cap of a container. The cap has an image formed thereon and includes a first part and a second part. When the cap is opened, the first part is separated from a container body of the container, and the second part remains on the container body of the container. The image is formed on a region straddling both a side surface of the first part and a side surface of the second part.

A beverage can assembly includes a beverage can that has number indicia printed on a top wall of the beverage can. The number indicia comprise numbers ranging between one and ten. A tab is movably disposed on the top wall of the beverage can and the tab can be manipulated for opening the drinking opening. Marker indicia are printed on the tab and the tab is pivotable on the top wall such that the marker indicia are directed toward a respective one of the numbers of the number indicia. In this way the beverage can may be assigned to a user thereby inhibiting other individuals from drinking from the beverage can. Thus, the marker indicia and the number indicia inhibit the transmission of infectious diseases with the beverage can.

A closure constructed for being inserted and securely retained in a portal-forming neck of a container, the closure having a substantially cylindrical shape and comprising substantially flat terminating surfaces forming the opposed ends of the closure, wherein the closure further comprises: (a) a closure precursor having a substantially cylindrical shape and comprising a lateral surface and substantially flat terminating surfaces forming the opposed ends of the closure precursor, wherein the lateral surface and the flat terminating surfaces of the closure precursor have a substantially uniform color; and (b) a decorative layer that at least partially covers at least the lateral surface of the closure precursor.

Aspects of the present invention disclose and describe embodiment containers for displaying, visualizing, and aroma sampling botanical materials—such as tea, cannabis, and the like including a container body, lid, and lens—which may have various shapes. In a preferred embodiment, lid is shaped to define a recessed area with scent openings permitting aroma sampling of a sample contained within. A removable plug is shaped to fit within the recessed area of the lid. The container body and lid, with removable plug fit within the lid, form an airtight chamber within. A botanical sample may be visualized through the lens.

A bottle includes a body and an overcap that covers the shoulder and neck of the bottle. The overcap includes an outer skirt and an inner skirt. The inner skirt engages the closure for the bottle. The outer skirt extends outwardly from the inner skirt. The inner skirt includes a first engaging lip and a second engaging lip that secure the overcap to the body of the bottle. The first engaging lip is located below the cover of the closure while the second engaging lip is located below the tamper-proof band of the closure.

A container includes a cup and a lid. The lid is adapted to mate with a brim included in the cup to close a top aperture opening into an interior liquid-storage region formed in the cup.

A bottle-top adapter is an apparatus that allows a user to retain a bottle cap for repeated use. The apparatus has a grip that extends beyond the width of the bottle cap retaining features, thus allowing enhanced leverage during use. A writable surface connected to the top of the gripping feature allows a user to indicate the owner and contents of the disposable bottle. A user may place or press a bottle cap into the cap-retaining segment of the apparatus to secure the bottle cap in place during use. The user may then grasp the grip, or other exposed features, and twist to open or close the disposable bottle. Upon completion, the user may remove the bottle cap from the cap-retaining segment of the apparatus to prepare the apparatus for subsequent usage upon another disposable bottle cap. Consequently, the apparatus may help in the reuse of disposable bottle caps.
