A container (10) having tamper evident features comprising: a bottle (12) having a neck (34) with an opening (14) at a distal end (16) and a base (20) at a proximal end (18) thereof; a cap (22) received on the neck (34) and movably retained on the bottle (12) wherein the cap (22) includes a first tamper evident feature (24) to provide an indication of tampering to an end user, the cap (22) further includes a second tamper evident feature (32) which becomes visible only when the first tamper evident feature (24) removed partially or completely from the bottle (12).

An interactive beverage container includes a beverage container that defines an opening which may be sealed by a closure. The closure may further include circuity that is configured to transmit data to a mobile device. When the closure is in a closed configuration with the closure attached to the opening, the circuitry does not transmit data to the mobile device and when the closure is in an open configuration with the closure removed from the opening, the circuitry transmits data to the mobile device. The data may include nutritional information, marketing materials, videos, track loyalty programs, and/or provide games or contests.

A beta container for an alpha-beta port system includes a sheath for receiving transport material and a flange part having a through opening for transferring the transport material from and/or into the sheath, a first interface for a reversible connection to an alpha connection of the port system, and a second interface for releasable attachment of a beta cover for closing the through opening. The invention features a method of reconditioning a fluid container including heating for at least one cycle the fluid container to a select temperature for a select time duration; sealing for at least one cycle the fluid container; cooling for at least one cycle the fluid container to a select vacuum for a select time duration in an interior of the fluid container; wherein the select vacuum and the select time duration of the cooling step are selected to draw substantially a fluid from at least one of a pore, a cell and a fiber of the fluid container to a surface of the fluid container. A beverage vessel includes: a beverage container in which a beverage may be stored said beverage container having an upper opening by which beverage may be poured in and poured out of the beverage container and a wall extending from the opening to the bottom of the beverage container; a closure element adapted to be positioned in the upper opening of the beverage container; a light distribution element arranged at the closure element; and a light emitter positioned such that the light emitted by the light emitter passes at least a part of the volume of the beverage container before entering the light distribution element; wherein said closure element comprises a locking mechanism, said locking mechanism comprising at least three locking arms extending in radial direction of the beverage vessel to the beverage container, wherein each arm of the locking element comprises an elastic portion being elastic in the radial direction of the beverage vessel; the beverage container comprises at least one concave portion in the wall, said concave portion extending in radial direction of the beverage vessel; and said arms releasably engage in the concave portion in the wall for releasably locking the closure element to the beverage container.

Disclosed is a lid (10) for closing a receptacle (20), the lid comprising: a static portion (18) arranged to substantially match an opening of the receptacle to be closed; a plurality of pivoting arms (11) coupled to the static portion; means (12) for moving the plurality of pivoting arms between a first position wherein the plurality of pivoting arms lie within a perimeter of the static portion and a second position wherein the plurality of pivoting arms lie outside a perimeter of the static portion and engage with a complementary feature of the receptacle.

A bottle includes a body and an overcap that covers the shoulder and neck of the bottle. The overcap includes an outer skirt and an inner skirt. The inner skirt engages the closure for the bottle. The outer skirt extends outwardly from the inner skirt. The inner skirt includes a first engaging lip and a second engaging lip that secure the overcap to the body of the bottle. The first engaging lip is located below the cover of the closure while the second engaging lip is located below the tamper-proof band of the closure.

Disclosed are scented material compositions, articles and methods of their manufacture. In some aspects, a scented attachment for a beverage container includes a scented article including a body loaded with a volatile chemical compound to emanate from the body of the scented article to generate a scent, in which the scented article includes at least one interior protruding structure that projects from an interior wall of the body of the scented article and is configured to attach to a bottle and be enclosed by a cap and the bottle when the cap is securely fastened to the bottle, such that the scent from the scented attachment is trapped when the cap is securely attached to the bottle and releases into an outer environment when the cap is detached from the bottle, in which the scented article comprises a scented material formed of a fragrance oil and a plastic base material.
