Indicators for indicating the integrity of a seal of a sterilization container are provided. For example, a seal indicator may indicate whether the container is sufficiently sealed to prevent an ingress of contaminants into the container. If the container is sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is in one state and displays a first indicium, and if the sterilization container is not sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is in another state and displays a second indicium. Thus, the seal indicator undergoes a visible change in state when the sterilization container transitions from unsealed to sealed, such that the user may be assured that the container is properly sealed to maintain sterility of the articles post-sterilization. Further, the seal indicator undergoes a visible change in state if the seal is subsequently broken, to signal to the user that the seal and the sterility of the container interior has been compromised.

An activatable spoilage monitoring device (2) is housed in a lid for a container. The device comprises a resevoir containing a digestor fluid and a tray (62) containing a digestible material or gel and having a tactile pattern of protuberances (68) formed in a base of the tray. The two parts (4, 6) of the lid axially compress together as the lid is opened resulting in activation of the device by permitting the fluid to come into contact with the digestible material.

A closure element for closing a container comprises an inner cap member coupled with a mouth of the container, an outer cap member movably coupled to the inner cap member, and a transponder having a chip and an antenna housed between the inner and outer cap members. The closure element further comprises two first capacitor plates connected with the chip, which are attached to one of a top wall of the inner cap member and a top wall of the outer cap member, and a second capacitor plate attached to the other of the top wall of the inner cap member and the top wall of the outer cap member, such that a relative movement of the outer cap member and the inner cap member switches the closure element between a first configuration and a second configuration having a different capacitance between the first and second capacitor plates.

A fitting for affixing to a mouth of a receiving container comprises a tubular body having a closed top end, a bottom end and a side wall extending between the closed top and bottom ends and having an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface includes a circumferential surface wherein the circumferential surface includes a plurality of inwardly extending, randomly placed nodes to engage an external surface of the mouth of the receiving container. A plug seal extending from the closed top end is spaced apart from circumferential surface to form a land area seal. The closed top end may further include an aperture adapted to permit passage of a straw therethrough.

Aspects of the disclosure include an attachment for providing a scent to a container. In some aspects, a scent delivery system includes a bottle including a collar and a ledge structure each extending circumferentially outward; a scent ring loaded with a volatile chemical agent to emanate and generate a scent and including an interior protruding structure projecting from an interior wall of the ring, the scent ring configured to fasten around the neck of the bottle based on contact between the interior protruding structure and the ledge structure of the bottle; and a cap reversibly attachable to the bottle and including an interior rim structure that circumferentially projects from the interior of the cap, where the cap is structured to enclose the scent ring in a compartment formed between the collar and the interior rim structure when the cap is securely fastened to the bottle and trap the scent.

Product packaging includes a blister configured to capture a cap and a portion of a neck of a product container such that a container body of the product container is exterior to the blister and a card coupled to the blister.

A modular case includes: a base having opposing side rails formed along sides of the base, the side rails forming elongate channels therein; a plurality of container modules removably secured on the base, the plurality of container modules having a base plate having a width extending across a width of the base such that sides of the base plate fit within the elongate channels formed by the side rails of the base, one or more containers formed on the base and extending upwardly therefrom, the one or more containers including an open end, and one or more caps secured to the one or more containers over the open end. One container system includes a transparent display, a projector for providing image data on the display, and a floor defining part of a watertight cavity. The display is non-perpendicularly angled from horizontal and has proximal and distal ends. And a closure device is provided for use with a watertight container. The closure device is configured to selectively seal an opening in the watertight container and includes coupling structure (a plug, a flange, and/or threading) for selectively coupling the closure device to the watertight container to seal the opening. The closure device further includes non-transitory computer memory, at least one sensor, and a processor in data communication with the memory and the at least one sensor.

A food storage container system which includes one or more food storage container assemblies. Each food storage container assembly has a container body and a lid designed and configured to work in functional combination to promote food storage means and with the lid containing timing means for tracking time elapsing during use (when storing food). The food storage container assemblies may be made of glass, plastic or other suitably equivalent material that is food- and dishwasher-safe. The lid of the container will be slidable into the base with an indented handle for sliding in and out of the body. The invention will contain an attachable timer that will slid into frond of container and be locked with a snapable button. The timer may comprise a display screen that shows a digital or non-digital display of time.

A portable container to transport bar garnishes and equipment. A first section of the container folds out to become a preparation area while a plurality of removable trays are seated in a second section of a container. Trays are interchangeable and removable for filling emptying and cleaning.
