SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CODING CAP AND TUBE ASSEMBLIES FOR DIFFERENT BOTTLE SIZES
Assemblies of a cap and a tube fixed to the cap are provided in which at least a portion of each assembly has a visual coding of color and/or indicia for use with one of different sizes of bottles at least in accordance with a height of the bottles from a closed bottom end to an open top end for engaging the cap of the assembly. In each assembly, the cap has a tube mounted to, or through, an aperture extending through the cap to extend a selected length enabling one end of the tube to reach or extend along at least a portion of an interior surface of the bottom end of any of the bottles of the height to which the assembly is coded for use therewith. Each of the caps has another tube or port to another aperture of the cap to provide an air vent.
Composite closure with support brace and method for making the same
A composite closure assembly includes a closure shell having a closure socket surrounded by a shell wall and a shell end. An inner closure is within the closure socket. The inner closure is fixed to the closure shell. The inner closure includes a closure wall and a closure end. A closure gap is between the shell end and the closure end. A support brace including one or more support braces extends from the closure end to the shell end and bridges the closure gap.
Method of Packaging Food in a Bag
A bag has a bag body that defines an interior and opening. A reclosable closure is configured for repeatably and nondestructively closing and opening the opening. A covering flap is connected to the bag body, extends away from the bag opening, and has a zone of weakness. The covering flap can be attached to the bag body while covering the closure. To access the closure, the covering flap is torn along its zone of weakness. The bag can also have a removable panel, which can be attached to the removable panels of other bags to form a header pack. The bag body and covering flap can be removed from the header pack by being torn along another zone of weakness between the covering flap and removable panel that has a lower tear strength that the zone of weakness of the covering flap.
REPLACEABLE CONTAINER TOPPER
A replaceable container topper is disclosed. It is mainly combined with the cover of any container (clamshell cover or separate cover). The cover is configured with a first joint structure, and the topper is configured with a matching second joint structure at a corresponding position, so that the topper and the cover can be combined firmly and stably, and can also be separated easily and quickly; the topper can have various structural and functional designs with no limit to its shape and structure, including working as: any of a fixed or movable handle, a soft long suspender or short band, a decorator of any style, a small electronic device or mechanical device. Through various designs of the topper, the container as a whole can have unique and personalized styles to not only enhance the aesthetics but also provide additional practical functions, such as telling the time, playing music, emitting light, positioning and tracking, or even to provide value for collection.
Anti-tamper synthetic elastomeric cap structure and method of production
An anti-tamper synthetic elastomeric cap structure, of the type having a dilated external head in abutment with an apex to form a “T-cap”, includes a composite structure having, embedded in the head, an endoskeleton with external appendages that provides a cage having a circumferential projection, with respect to a penetrating body under the head that defines a band having a notching therein and disposed about the neck of a bottle to provide a pre-fracture line and a grasping appendage.
Articulating lid for beverage container
Disclosed is a lid for a beverage container configured to retain a beverage from a brewer or other source of beverage. The lid is configured to substantially cover or enclose an opening of the beverage container for receiving a beverage into a vessel of the container. The lid further includes a base and a door, the door being slidable with respect to the base from a first closed position that prevents access to the opening to a second opened position that permits access to the opening. The door further including a first and second panel that are connected together each other along a pivot axis. The second panel is pivotable with respect to the first panel when the door is slid from the first closed position.
NETWORK-CONNECTED CAP FOR A CONTAINER
Network-connected (i.e., “smart”) containers are described herein that include an electronic display on which personalized information can be presented. For example, the electronic display (and other necessary components, such as memory, processors, and communication modules) can be integrated into the cap or the body of a container, which holds a skin care product (e.g., a medication or a personal care product, such as a cosmetic) that is applied by the user as part of a skin care regimen. More specifically, a smart container can include an electronic display that presents relevant information to a user for review. Such information can include the name of the skin care product, textual instructions for complying with a skin care regimen, animations illustrating how to apply the skin care product, user information, messages (e.g., text messages delivered via a cloud service), notifications, and device information (e.g., battery status and network connectivity status).
Bottle with sensors for probing and optimizing bottling line performance
A bottle with sensors for probing and optimizing bottling line performance is disclosed. According to one embodiment a bottle, comprises an outer layer and a reservoir tube inside the outer layer that connects a reservoir inside the outer layer to a neck of the bottle. The bottle has a battery inside the outer layer and one or more sensors powered by the battery.
Dispensing cap
A child resistant dispensing cap including an inner cover and an outer ring. The inner cover being coaxially nested and retained within the outer ring. The outer ring configured to rotate around the inner cover. The inner cover and the outer ring may be manipulated relative to each other to be in a number of different configurations, including a locked position, an unlocked position and an open position. The inner cover including a lid pivotably mounted to the inner cover from a closed position to an open position. The lid including a free end. The outer ring including a front tab capable of flexing radially inward towards the inner cover. The dispensing cap configured in the unlocked position capable of flipping up the lid when the free end of the lid aligns with the front tab of the outer ring. When the front tab is pushed radially inward, an underside surface at the free end of the lid is exposed to allow the lid to pivot to the open position.
