The spoon is at least partially disposed within the passage of the fitment. The spoon may be attached to the fitment, and covered by a protective cover. The protective cover may include a first half and a second half. The protective cover can be secured with a safety seal.

The presently disclosed flip-to-fill scoop resolves the shortcomings of traditional scoops by removably securing the flip-to-fill scoop to a top of the jar. This allows the consumer to easily access the scoop, even as the level of product within the jar drops. Further, the flip-to-fill scoop is filled without requiring the consumer to reach into the jar. This may aid with cleanliness and hygiene. Example products that may be accessed using the flip-to-fill scoop include medicines, nutritional supplements, powered food products, and larger granular food products.
