A cap is configured to be securely attached to a bottle, such as a medication bottle, and includes a base having a first compartment that contains a power source and a second compartment that is below the first compartment. The second compartment is defined by a peripheral side wall that includes on an inner surface thereof one or more locking tabs. The cap also includes an insert that is configured to be received within the second compartment. The insert includes a peripheral side wall and further including inner threads that are configured to threadingly mate with outer threads of the bottle for securely attaching the cap to the bottle. The insert includes a locking lip that snap-fittingly mate with the one or more locking tabs to detachably attach the insert to the base within the second compartment.

Device for reminding a user to drink from a container
10232996 · 2019-03-19 · ·

Disclosed is a device for reminding a user to drink from a container. The device may be attached to either the cap of the container or may be assembled inside the cap of the container. The device includes a housing, a battery, a printed circuit board, a battery holder, a button, an upper cover, a controller for storing a reference time, a reference timeout value and generating reminding signals, at least one output unit connected to the printed circuit board to produce output signals on receiving reminding signals from the controller, a tap button placed in the indent to meet the button on receiving tap from the user. Further, the controller stores the reference time on receiving the tap from the user and generates reminding signals for the user to drink from the container when the user fails to either tap the button again or remove the button from the spout in duration of the stored reference timeout value from the reference time.

CONTAINER AND LID WITH AUDIBLE AND TACTILE FEEDBACK

The present invention relates to a container (10) and a lid (14), wherein the lid produces audible and tactile feedback when the container is closed with the lid. The invention further relates to a method for forming a lid for engagement with a container. A container with a lid includes at least one thread (20) on a neck of the container; at least one thread (30) on the lid; a bump (32) at the lower part of the lid; an end stop (22) on a lower end of the neck; and an engagement portion of the neck corresponding to an area where the bump of the lid will engage the neck when the lid is in a fully engaged position. The engagement portion (24) is arranged such that audible feedback and tactile feedback are produced when the lid moves into a fully engaged position.

Bottle having water volume measuring function
10219641 · 2019-03-05 · ·

A bottle having a water volume measuring function comprises a bottle-lid, a bottle-body, and a measure module disposed in the bottle-lid which comprises at least a micro controller unit, a memory unit and a sound wave transceiver unit. The memory unit stores a lookup table with corresponding relationships between a plurality of frequencies and remained water volumes in the bottle-body. The sound wave transceiver unit emits sound waves with sweeping frequencies towards the bottle-body and receives reflected waves. The micro controller unit determines if any frequency of the sound waves is an air-resonance frequency according to the energy level of each of the reflected waves. When a sound wave frequency is determined as an air-resonance frequency, the micro controller unit obtains the corresponding remained water volume by checking with the air-resonance frequency in the lookup table and users can view the remained water volume without opening the bottle-lid.

DRINK CONTAINER WITH TORQUE-LIMITING LID

A drink container with torque-limiting lid is provided. The drink container includes a lid that can be threadably coupled to a container body having a volume to hold fluids. The lid can include an inner lid assembly concentric with an outer lid assembly. The inner lid assembly can include a multiple ratchet teeth along an outer perimeter and the outer lid assembly can include one or more ratchet pawls along an inner perimeter and configured to engage the ratchet teeth. Rotational force on the outer lid assembly can be transferred to the inner lid assembly from the ratchet pawls to the ratchet teeth to threadably couple the inner lid assembly to the container body. Once a torque limit is reached, the ratchet pawls can slip along the ratchet teeth preventing further tightening of the inner lid assembly to the container body.

Embodiment apparatus and associated methods relate to configuring a container with trigger devices physically detectable by a mobile device configured to deliver to a head mounted display multimedia content segments captured from a simulated medical procedure experience, providing the container with the head mounted display to a physical participant scheduled to physically experience the medical procedure, and automatically providing a virtual experience including the scheduled medical procedure to the physical participant based on adapting the timing, sequence, or participant point of view of the multimedia content segments delivered to the head mounted display in response to triggers detected by the mobile device. In an illustrative example, the medical procedure experience may be surgery. In some examples, the participant may be an acute care surgical patient. The virtual experience may include, for example, arrival, check-in, pre-operative care, or recovery, associated with the surgery. Various examples may advantageously provide improved patient satisfaction.
