20210380326 · 2021-12-09 ·

A reusable vessel comprises a first compartment to store therein a substance and a second compartment separated from the first compartment by a boundary element comprising a wall or membrane having one or more apertures therein. A valve is movable between a closed position, in which the valve seals the one or more apertures, and an open position allowing the substance to be released from the first compartment into the second compartment, or a substance in the second compartment to mix with the substance in the first compartment. A triggering mechanism is coupled to the valve to move the valve between the open and closed positions. The triggering mechanism comprises one or more external elements coupled to one or more internal cam elements to control the valve, which, when triggered causes the one or more external elements to exhibit a visible change to indicate the open and closed positions of the valve.

PRESSURIZED BREWING, GAS INFUSION AND DISPENSING MACHINE
20210380332 · 2021-12-09 ·

A pressurized beverage dispenser having a beverage container and a cap. The cap includes a cap body, a compressed-gas cartridge, an external straw, a discharge chamber, a metering valve, a diaphragm, and an actuator. The discharge chamber within the cap body is in fluid communication with an internal passageway of the external straw. The metering valve allows a flow of beverage from the beverage container to the discharge chamber when the metering valve is open and substantially precludes the flow of beverage when the metering valve is closed. The diaphragm opens the metering valve when the diaphragm is activated and closes the metering valve when the diaphragm is deactivated. The diaphragm also activates when a user sucks on the outlet end of the external straw to create suction within the discharge chamber. The actuator on the cap body activates the diaphragm when the user manually engages the actuator.

Valve arrangement for pressurised tank in a closure device
11365036 · 2022-06-21 · ·

A closure assembly for a container comprising a pressurised tank and a plug member, the pressurised tank has an interior volume and a cylindrical wall including an annular boss member at its open end. The plug member has an annular channel arranged at a first side of the plug member adapted to sealingly engage with the boss member. The channel has at least one orifice extending from the floor or outer side wall of the channel to a nozzle at the second side of the plug member. The orifice is sealed from the interior volume of the tank when the channel is sealingly engaged with the boss member in a first position, but is in fluid communication with the interior volume of the tank when at least part of the channel is no longer engaged with the boss member in a second position.

CLOSING CAP FOR A CONTAINER
20220177205 · 2022-06-09 ·

A closing cap (1) for a container (2) is proposed which comprises: an outer shell (3), a lateral wall (301) and an end wall (302; 317), which closes the lateral wall (301) at one end for delimiting a concavity; the lateral wall (301) being internally provided with a coupling structure (303), for removably coupling the cap (1) to a neck (201) of the container (1). The closing cap (1) also comprises an inner component (4; 4′) positioned for closing the mouth (202) of the container (2), when the cap (1) is in a closing position, comprising a closing element (401, 401′, 402) provided with an inner portion (401; 401′), which is configured, in use, for facing the mouth (202), and an outer flange (402), extending externally relative to the inner portion (401; 401′), which is configured for fixing to the outer shell (3). The closing cap (1) also comprises a containment chamber (5), which is partly delimited by the inner portion (401; 401′); wherein the cap (1) comprises an opening promoting assembly (6) and the inner portion (401; 401′) comprises a breakable portion (403), the opening promoting assembly (6) being configured for axially stressing the breakable portion (403) to create a supplying outlet (7) in the inner portion (401; 401′) and to make a product (P) come out of the chamber (5) into the container (2).

Reconfigurable Container-Closure System
20220169428 · 2022-06-02 ·

A reconfigurable container-closure system is comprised of first and second containers and first and second closures. The container-closure system can assume either of two configurations. First configuration means that the first closure (12) is secured to the first container (10), and the second closure (112) is secured to the second container (110). Also, an orifice reducer (113), cartridge (114) and sleeve (115) are all attached to the second closure (112), and two products are separated. Second configuration means that the second closure (112) is secured to the first container (10), and the first closure (12) is secured to the second container (110). Also, the orifice reducer (113), cartridge (114) and sleeve (115) are all attached to the first container (10), and two products are allowed to mix and be dispensed. The transfer is accomplished by a user who simply screws the second closure onto the first container (10).

Methods for storing and preserving cannabis or cannabis-containing substances

Methods for storing and preserving cannabis or cannabis-containing substances using container assemblies are disclosed. An exemplary container assembly includes a lid and a container body. The lid is configured to be closed onto the container body over an opening of the container body. The opening provides access to an interior space having a product compartment configured to store product. The assembly also includes a humectant compartment permanently secured within the assembly. The humectant compartment includes a rigid housing containing a humectant solution. The rigid housing is configured within the assembly to prevent leaking of the humectant solution into the product compartment while facilitating bidirectional transmission of moisture between the humectant compartment and the product compartment. The humectant solution regulates relative humidity of the product compartment to maintain the relative humidity at a predetermined level.

A CAP INCLUDING A SECTION DELIMITED BY A DIVIDING WALL, WHICH CAN BE TORN, IF NECESSARY, BY MEANS INCLUDED IN THE CAP
20230271759 · 2023-08-31 ·

Disclosed is a cap including a cavity delimited by a cylindrical side wall and by a discoidal base at a first end of the cap. The latter further includes a circular opening for accessing the cavity, obtained at a second end of the cap opposite the first end. A discoidal dividing wall is housed in the cavity of the cap between the base and the opening. The dividing wall is connected to the side wall along its circular edge to delimit, with the base and a portion of the side wall, a section inside the cap. A tongue protruding outside the cap penetrates the latter through the side wall connects to the dividing wall at an end inside the cap. Applying force to the tongue tending to remove it from the cap tears the dividing wall, opening the section and allowing the enclosed substance to exit the cap.
