ACTIVITY AND WORKOUT UPDATES
The present disclosure generally relates to navigating, viewing, and sharing activity and workout data and interacting with workout and/or activity applications. In some examples, scrolling of activity data is based on the content being displayed. In some examples, friends' activity data may be viewed. In some examples, a notification and workout data for a friend's completed workout is received and displayed. In some example, the activity data received from friends is viewed and managed. In some examples, workout data for a multi-segment workout is displayed in a three-dimensional stack on a map. In some examples, a workout application operates in a limited mode until a touch input is received with a characteristic intensity that is greater than a threshold intensity.

Fitness based control of communication device
A method and system for limiting the amount of screentime available to a child device based on the activity of a user of the child device. A parent device is used to specify activity threshold(s) and associate them with an amount of screentime. A wearable activity sensor provides activity data that is converted to a screentime value. An available screentime value is decremented as screentime is used on the child device. When the available screentime value reaches zero, access to functions or apps on the child device is disabled.
MANUALLY POWERED TREADMILL
A manually powered treadmill includes a frame; a first rotatable element coupled to the frame; a second rotatable element coupled to the frame; a plurality of bearings coupled to the frame; a running belt at least partly supported by the plurality of bearings, where at least a portion of the running belt defines a curved running surface; and a safety device coupled to at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element. The safety device is structured to substantially prevent rotation of the at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element in a first rotational direction and permit rotation of the at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.
EXERCISE TREADMILL
A treadmill has a front or rear set of pulleys and a looped running belt. The pulleys rotate with the movement of the belt, e.g., when a user walks, jogs, or runs on the treadmill. The pulleys are mounted on a rotating roller tube so that the roller tube rotates with the pulleys. The roller tube is mounted on a stationary shaft using bearings on each side and a one-way device that allows the pulleys to rotate in one direction. The rotation direction corresponds to the movement of the top of the belt from the front to the rear of the treadmill. The one-way device prevents the pulleys from rotating in the opposite direction, preventing the top of the belt from moving from the rear of the treadmill to the front. The one-way device may be a sprag clutch. The treadmill may be a motor-less, curved treadmill.
LIGHTING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING SAME WITH EXERCISE AND REHABILITATION EQUIPMENT
A treadmill includes a frame and a running belt coupled to the frame. The running belt is configured to rotate relative to the frame. The treadmill includes at least one sensor configured to collect information regarding a rotation of the running belt and a use of the treadmill by a user of the treadmill. The treadmill also includes a light source coupled to the frame and configured to emit a light at least partly away from a front of the treadmill to at least partly illuminate a rear of the treadmill.
System and method for object tracking in coordination with a ball-throwing machine
A system is disclosed that includes a ball-throwing machine included within a first housing, a controller communicatively coupled to the ball-throwing machine and included within a second housing different than the first housing, a camera, and a non-transitory storage medium having stored thereon logic, the logic being executable by one or more processors to perform operations including: receiving information associated with a selection of a first training drill from the controller, responsive to receiving the information associated with the selection of the first training drill, causing the ball-throwing machine to impart motion to one or more balls in accordance with the first training drill, receiving multimedia data of a player captured by the camera, and performing a player recognition procedure to locate the player within the multimedia data.
Calorie estimation apparatus and method, and wearable device
A calorie estimation apparatus and method that analyze a user's skin spectrum to determine calories of food and drink that the user has ingested are provided. The calorie estimation apparatus includes a spectrum measurer configured to measure a skin spectrum of a user; and a processor configured to determine a noise of the measured skin spectrum, and estimate calories consumed by the user based on the determined noise.
Leg Exercise Assembly
A leg exercise assembly includes a housing that is positionable near a user's feet. A pair of foot pads is each disposed on the housing for having a respective one of the user's feet positioned upon the foot pads. A pair of roller units is each rollably integrated into the housing and each of the foot pads is coupled to a respective one of the pair of roller units for sliding the foot pads back and forth on the housing. A resistance unit is movably integrated into the housing for either increasing or decreasing the force required to move the footpads to accommodate the physical strength of the user. A calorie counter is integrated into the housing and the calorie counter counts each time the pair of roller units is moved back and forth to calculate the calories being burnt by the user.
FUNCTIONAL GARMENTS AND METHODS THEREOF
Provided herein in some embodiments is a resistance-training system including an upper-body garment having a first section of a single-layered construction and a second section of a multi-layered construction. The single-layered construction can include a first fabric layer. The multi-layered construction can include the first fabric layer, a second fabric layer, and a resistance-providing layer in-between the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer. The resistance-training system also includes a lower-body garment having the multi-layered construction, optionally with a different resistance-providing layer than the upper-body garment. The resistance-providing layer of the upper-body garment and the lower-body garment can be configured to provide resistance to one or more user movements for a user donning the resistance-training system.
