Pouring Element for a Package and Composite Package Having Such a Pouring Element
A pouring element for a package having a base body, a polyhedrally formed flange, the flange inner surfaces of which converge in face abutments, for joining to a package sleeve and at least one holding element projecting on the inside of the flange for operatively connecting to a mandrel of a packaging machine, as well as a pouring element with polyhedrally formed gable surfaces, which are correspondingly joined to the polyhedrally formed flange. Provision is made for the holding element to be formed as a rounding in the area of the face abutments on the inside of the flange, in order to prevent the pouring element from becoming damaged during the whole joining process with the package sleeve when putting the pouring element onto, holding it on and removing it from the mandrel and additionally in order to guarantee a secure and precise hold.
CONTAINER CAP HAVING FUNCTION OF MAINTAINING OPEN STATE
A container cap configured to maintain an open state includes an indication ring prevented from escaping from a container spout; a cap body screw-coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the container spout; a hinge connecting the cap body and the indication ring to each other in a partial section of a circumference of a cut portion between the cap body and the indication ring; and a bridge connecting the cap body and the indication ring at an interval along the circumference of the cut portion and is cut when the cap body is open. The hinge has widthwise opposite edges adjacent to opposite cut portions and depressed from the outer to inner sides thereof, a bending guide groove integrally connected to the cap body, the indication ring, the hinge portion, and a protrusion having a shape extending and protruding downward from a lower part of the widthwise center thereof.
POSITION INDICATOR ON LIQUID SAMPLE CONTAINER
A disclosed technique includes an assembly comprising a cup with a first visual sealing indicator and a lid with a second visual sealing indicator wherein, in operation, the lid is screwed on the cup to a sealing indicator position where the first visual sealing indicator and the second visual sealing indicator are aligned. Another disclosed technique includes an assembly comprising a cup with a first audible sealing indicator and a lid with a second audible sealing indicator wherein, in operation, the lid is screwed on the cup to a position past where the first audible sealing indicator and the second audible sealing indicator have contacted each other producing an audible sound. Another disclosed technique includes a cup with a raised central bottom area and an insert with bracing wings wherein, in operation, the bracing wings stabilize and secure the insert in the cup.
CONTAINER AND CAP HAVING TAMPER-EVIDENT MEMBER
A container includes a container body with a projection and a cap with a cover member, an inner member, and an outer member. The inner member is threadably engaged to the neck of the container body and is supported for movement between a first threaded position and a second threaded position relative to the container body. The outer member depends from the cover member and extends at least partly about the inner member and an axis. The outer member includes a tamper-evident member that includes an abutment member configured to engage with the projection to limit movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position. Also, the tamper-evident member is permanently deformable to disengage the projection and allow movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position.
Tamper-evident closure
A tamper-evident closure (1) for a container, the closure comprising: a shell comprising a first shell part (3A) and a second shell part (3B); and a tamper-evident overcap, the overcap comprising a cap (4A) which is fixed to the exterior of the first shell part and a tamper-evident member (4B) which is releasably connected to the cap (4A) and releasably located around the exterior of at least part of the second shell part (3B), such that the first and second shell parts (3A, 3B) cannot be separated unless the member (4B) is released, and thereafter the cap (4A) is removable together with the first shell part (3A).
Dual-Seal Liner and Non-Removable Closure Assembly
Non-removable closure assembly that resists rotational movement so as to be rendered substantially non-removable by the consumer. An induction heat seal liner is provided for sealing the finish (open end or mouth) of a plastic container, the liner being disposed between a closure cap and the container finish and being heat seal bonded to both, thus rendering the closure cap non-removable from the container finish. By non-removable it is meant that once heat seal bonded together the closure cap cannot be removed by a customer or consumer (a human) by hand, without substantially distorting the closure cap or container, e.g., it would require the human to use a mechanical tool (e.g., knife or wrench) and in the process of trying to remove the cap with the tool it would substantially deform the closure cap or container and render one or more of them unusable for their intended purpose.
PACKAGE FOR TOBACCO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING A RFID TAG
A package (24; 124; 224) for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices includes an RFID tag (10; 110) which comprises a sealing portion (14) and is embedded in or attached to the package. The sealing portion (14) is destroyed when the package is opened. The RFID tag is configured to transmit, on request of a reader device (34), a status information indicating whether the sealing portion (14) is intact or has been destroyed.
Tamper-evident closing element and receiving structure
A combination of a closing element (28) and a receiving structure (24) is provided wherein the closing element (28) and receiving structure (24) are in an initially assembled orientation which prevents, but which can be subsequently operated to permit, communication through the receiving structure (24). The receiving structure (24) includes at least one laterally projecting shear member (40) and a spout (30) defining (A) an access passage (32). The closing element (28) has an aperture (78) for receiving a shear member (40) of the receiving structure (24). At least one frangible bridge (78) extends across a portion of the aperture (74) for being severed by the shear member (40) during relative rotation between the closing element (28) and the receiving structure (24).
