FLIP-TOP CLOSURE
A flip-top closure includes first and second polymeric closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a sealing mechanism and an annular skirt portion. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure portions are attached by a line of weakness. The closure portions are further attached via a hinge. The hinge includes a locking tab, a flexible tab and linking segments. The locking tab extends further outwardly from a center of the closure in a closed position than the flexible tab and the linking segments. During the opening of the flip-top closure, the locking tab moves and passes the flexible tab such that the flip-top closure locks in a fully open position.
Tamper evidence bridges
An apparatus and a method are provided for a container cap comprising a plurality of tamper evidence bridges configured to provide evidence that the container cap has been removed from a container by other than a manufacturer of the container. The tamper evidence bridges comprise a small tab of material that extends from a bottom-most edge of the container cap to a neck ring of the container. The tamper evidence bridges are configured to break, or snap, when the container cap is rotated relative to the neck ring. Broken tamper evidence bridges provide readily visible evidence to an end-user of the container that the container cap has been removed by other than the manufacturer of the container. The high visibility of the tamper evidence bridges serves to discourage vendors from attempting to refill and resale of the used containers.
SHORT ROTATION SAFETY LOCK FOR CONTAINERS AND BOTTLE FOR SAID LOCK
A short rotation safety lock for containers has a fixed internal structure (1) linked to locking cap (3) and includes a clamping frame (12) that acts over an annular cordon or protrusion (61,62) of the container (6) of application. This internal structure (1) gives rotating assembly (4) to an external structure (2) which rotation movement, limited by a rotation limiter device (5), determines the movement of some mobile blocking members (24) between an active position behind said grip fingers (13) and a passive position in said intermediate spaces (14). In some variations a safety system of the kind of a seal that links the upper wall (23) of the external structure (2) with the internal structure (1) is incorporated. The detachable sector (70) acts as a safety seal and, even after the detachment, the link member (76) maintains it as cover of the upper part of the lock. The bottle (200) has an annular entrance (204) compatible with the grip position of the safety lock.
Tamper-evident closure, container with such closure and its use
A tamper-evident closure for a container with an outer screw thread opening, including an outer cap with a first sidewall and a first top wall and an inner cap with a second sidewall and a second top wall. The inner cap is coaxially nested within the outer cap and has an inner thread. The outer and inner cap have cooperating engagement mechanisms arranged and shaped so when opening the closure for the first time, the inner cap is rotated by the outer cap. The first top wall has a tamper-evident member which is connected to a surrounding region of the first top wall by a frangible component. A protruding element, arranged for breaking the frangible component, is arranged at the first top wall facing the second top wall and/or the second top wall facing the first top wall so as to face the tamper-evident member.
TAMPER EVIDENT CONTAINER
A tamper evident closure includes a first snap, a second snap, a tear strip connected to the second snap, a third snap connected to the tear strip, and a first projection extending around three sides of the first snap. In a closed position, a cavity of the second snap is configured to be placed over the first snap, and the third snap is configured to be placed in a cavity in the first snap. Further, in a closed position, the first projection is configured to surround three sides of the third snap that has been placed in a cavity in the first snap.
POSTER TUBE CLOSURE
A poster tube closure includes a plug member for locating within an end of a poster tube. The plug member has a substantially planar closure surface with upper and lower faces, wherein a perimeter wall extends downwardly from the lower face for gripping the wall of a poster tube when inserted. The upper face has a frangible or weakened area arranged in use to be broken by user action to permit removal of the plug member and a visible indication of the breakage.
A TAMPER-EVIDENT CLOSURE
A flip-top dispensing closure (10) is provided. The closure comprises: a base (12) connectable to a container neck (1); a lid (14) hingedly connected to the base so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position; and a dispensing member (20). The closure further comprises a tamper-indicating member (5). The tamper-indicating member (5) activates either: upon first opening of the lid (14); or if the base (12) is removed from the neck (1).
Water bottle with dosage in a blister pack
A solid dosage preparation is provided with a bottle of water. The solid dosage preparation is contained in a safe and sanitary blister package and attached by means of a shrink band to the closure of the bottle. The shrink band provides a tamper-indicating seal for the both the bottle and blister contents. An advantage of the design is that it does not require customization of bottle and closure tooling, and thereby provides a simple and cost-effective means for combining solid and liquid materials in a unitary package. An additional advantage is the robustness of the tamper-indicating system and methodology.
SPOUT CAP, SPOUT, AND CONTAINER WITH SPOUT
The spout cap of the present invention includes: a cap body that tubularly surrounds a mouth portion of a spout body, and is an injection molded article made of resin; and a sealing film that is bonded to one side in a penetration direction of the cap body and can be thermally bonded to a tip surface of the mouth portion. The cap body includes a tubular body portion, and a tab portion disposed outside in a caliber direction with respect to the body portion. The tab portion includes a tab base portion that projects outward in the caliber direction from the other side in the penetration direction of the body portion, and a tab body portion that extends from the tab base portion toward the one side in the penetration direction and faces the body portion on an outside in the caliber direction.
