Package or product having a use indicator
A product includes a use indicator carried inside a container so that, upon removal of a closure from the container or upon removal of flowable product from within the container, a coloration of the product changes irreversibly to indicate to a user that the package has been used.
Container sealing member with protected security component and removal tab
A sealing member or closure for a container is provided having a protected security component and a removal tab. The sealing member is provided in the form of a one-piece or a two-piece construction and has a tab and an optical security component configured to be protected such that the optical clarity of the security component is maintained after induction sealing.
Tamper-evident closure
A tamper-evident closure for a container. The closure comprises a first portion including inner and outer parts, and a second portion. The outer part is rotatable relative to the inner part from a first position in which at least part of the first and second portions are adjacent each other to a second position in which there is a gap therebetween. The first portion comprises a locking mechanism for irreversibly locking the closure in the second position upon first opening so that the gap cannot be closed, in which the first portion comprises a compressible stopper for sealing the second portion and/or the container. A tamper-evident closure in combination with a container.
Single-use food preparation container assemblies, systems and methods
A product preparation system and method wherein a single-use product container assembly, including a cup body and a cup closure, the cup closure including a rotatable blade, and a container processor including a container support and an electric motor including a drive shaft are employed to process contents of the container assembly.
METHOD FOR DETECTING A BREACH OF A BARRIER OR STOWAGE CONTAINER
A method for detecting tampering with a stowage container can include configuring the stowage container, the stowage container comprising a container housing and a barrier, wherein edges of the barrier overlap edges of the container housing to prevent access to an interior of the stowage container between the container housing and the barrier when the barrier is in a closed position. A tamper-evident device can be positioned such that the tamper-evident device is viewable from at least one predetermined eyepoint under an ambient light environment. The tamper-evident device can be configured to be inaccessible from an exterior of the stowage container and provides a distinct color contrast with the stowage container and an indication that tampering has occurred.
Closure device for bottles with evidence of first opening
The present invention relates to a closure device for bottles with evidence of first opening where before the first opening the closure shows a capsule with a perimetral line, and after the first opening, a separation line visually evidencing said first opening now appears where the perimetral line was previously located.
Lightguide tamper seal
A tamper seal includes an optical waveguide arranged to guide a propagating light-beam along a propagation direction. First and second portions of the tamper seal are configured to be arranged on first and second parts, respectively, which are movable relative to each other. The first portion has an input coupler arranged to couple incident light into the optical waveguide, and the second portion has at least one output coupler arranged to couple out of the optical waveguide at least partially light guided in the optical waveguide. The input coupler, the optical waveguide, and the output coupler are configured to transmit light from the input coupler to the output coupler. The waveguide is configured to be disruptable and includes a layer having a distinctive appearance that is changed in response to an at least partial disruption of said optical waveguide.
Closure With False Thread For A Package
A closure includes a polymeric top wall portion, a polymeric annular skirt portion, and a polymeric tamper-evident band. The polymeric annular skirt portion depends from the polymeric top wall portion. The annular skirt portion includes an internal thread formation for mating engagement with an external thread formation of a container, and first and second false threads. The internal thread formation includes a first closure lead and a second closure lead. Each of the first and second closure leads is in the form of a helix. Each of the false threads is located on roughly opposing sides of the closure. The first false thread assists in maintaining the contact between the first closure lead and a first finish lead of the container. The second false thread assists in maintaining the contact between the second closure lead and a second finish lead of the container. The polymeric tamper-evident band depends from and is at least partially detachably connected to the polymeric annular skirt portion by a frangible connection.
Snap action tamper evident closure assembly
A tamper evident closure (TEC) for a medical container includes a cover having an access opening and a tip cap removably disposed therein. First and second snap structures are respectively disposed within said cover and on said tip cap and are cooperatively disposed and configured to removably restrict exiting of said tip cap from said cover, via said access opening and in movable engagement with one another concurrent to said exiting of said tip cap. Each of the first and second snap structures are disposed and configured for movable, sliding engagement with one another, concurrent to the exiting of said tip cap. At least one component of the TEC is dimensioned and configured to define a flexure thereof, concurrent to the sliding engagement of first and second snap structures, resulting in a snap-action disconnection of said tip cap from said cover.
Anti-counterfeiting structure and packaging box having the same
An anti-counterfeiting structure to prevent tampering or replacement of the authenticated product of a packaging box includes a fixing member, a connecting member, a first mounting member, a second mounting member, and an anti-counterfeiting member. The connecting member connected to the fixing member defines a first receiving groove. The first mounting member is disposed in the first receiving groove and defines a second receiving groove. The anti-counterfeiting member in the second receiving groove includes an electronic screen and a battery disposed on the electronic screen. The first mounting member can be readily moved along a first direction away from the connecting member, driving the electronic screen along the first direction and thereby separating the battery from the electronic screen, causing cancellation of the structure and the visible authenticity of the product within the packaging box.
