PLASTIC BOTTLE EQUIPPED WITH A TAMPERPROOF DEVICE AFTER ITS OPENING
A plastic bottle equipped with a tamperproof device after its opening comprises a neck (1) and a cap (2) with corresponding screw threads (3, 4). The cap (2) is provided in its skirt (6) with at least one slide and one pin (8) manually sliding into the slide. Below its screw threads (3) the cap (2) has a nut ring (9) that is provided with a plurality of holes (10); one of these is intended to receive and hold an arrow-tip end (18) of the pin (8) until its breakage in its weakened tract (17) when the cap (2) is unscrewed for opening. In addition, the pin (8) has an elongated projection (13) for its manual sliding inside the cutout (12) in a convex band (7) whose interior contains the slide of the pin (8). The cutout has a lower end working as a stop for the pin (8).

TAMPER-EVIDENT DEVICE
A device adapted to provide evidence of tampering. The device comprises a sleeve and an insert that is positioned within the sleeve. The insert comprises a flap that is movable between a closed position and an open position. In particular, the flap is adapted to move from a closed position to an open position when the position of the sleeve relative to the insert is changed a predetermined amount to try to open the container. As a result, an open position of the flap would readily indicate tampering to a user. A system comprising a tray adapted to receive at least one said device is also provided.
Determining use and validity of vehicles through acoustic emissions
Arrangements are provided for smart functionality with dumb containers, such as for determining medication adherence, tracking product use, and validating product authenticity. An acoustic emitter is engaged with a container or other vehicle. Opening the container causes the acoustic emitter to produce an acoustic emission, without requiring power, processing capacity, or sensors. A cell phone or other station receives and registers acoustic emissions, such as by logging opening of the container, verifying authenticity of the acoustic emission, communicating with an oversight system, or similar. Data as may be encoded in an acoustic emission may include vehicle detection data (e.g., logging a container being opened), vehicle information (e.g., lot number, contents name), vehicle validation (e.g., valid or counterfeit numerical code), and audible user recognition (e.g., brand jingles, warning sounds).

FUSIBLE CAP ASSEMBLY
A cap assembly for a container and a method of assembly. The cap assembly includes a housing couplable to a container opening, the housing defining a housing opening communicating with the container opening; a cover operable to close the housing opening; and a retainer mechanism operable to releasably connect the cover to the housing, the retainer mechanism including a non-fusible member selectively contacting the cover and the housing, and a fusible member operable to hold the non-fusible member in contact with the cover and the housing in a retaining condition, the fusible member deforming at or above a threshold of the condition to allow the non-fusible member to move out of contact with one of the cover and the housing, in a release condition, to open the container opening to atmosphere.

WIRELESS IC TAG AND CONTAINER WITH WIRELESS IC TAG
A container with a wireless IC tag includes a container having a container body and a sealing member for sealing an opening portion of the container body; and a wireless IC tag and a cap seal attached to the container. The container body includes a neck (extending from the opening portion. The wireless IC tag includes an antenna for contactless communication, a wiring for wire break detection, and an IC chip connected to the antenna and the wiring. The cap seal includes a cylindrical member that surrounds the neck, the cylindrical member having a metal section disposed on a side face of the neck. The wireless IC tag is disposed to extend between opposite lateral sides of the neck via the sealing member and is partially sandwiched between the neck and the cylindrical member with the IC chip exposed from the cap seal.
TAMPER RESISTANT DEVICE AND METHODS OF FORMING A TAMPER RESISTANT DEVICE
Tamper resistant systems and devices and methods of forming the same are disclosed. A tamper resistant system includes a container having a container body defining a cavity having a threaded opening therein, a threaded closure removably covering the threaded opening, and a frangible component including a length of material having a first end and a second end. The first end is integrated with the container body such that the frangible component and the container body have a single piece construction and the frangible component extends from the container body. The second end is coupled to the threaded closure. Subsequent removal of the threaded closure from the container causes damage to at least one of the frangible component, the threaded closure, and the container body. The frangible component, the threaded closure, and the container body are at least partially constructed of an environmentally friendly material.
