Closure mechanism that prevents accidental initial opening of a container
The present invention is directed toward providing container closure structures that include at least one breakable or irreversibly deformable engagement element. Specifically, a closure having at least one engagement element that is breakable or irreversibly deformable upon application of an opening force that is equal to, or higher than, a threshold force value, wherein the closure comprises one or more moveable parts and one or more fixed parts; and wherein the engagement element engages the moveable part and the fixed part of the closure; and wherein the mechanical part inhibits the separation between the moveable and the fixed part of the closure upon application of opening force below the threshold force value; and sealing together the moveable part and the fixed part of the closure at one or more locations; a breakable splint which connects the moveable and fixed parts of the closure created by a two step molding process.

Corrugated cardboard package adapted to detect breaks made to its detriment
Disclosed is a package obtained by folding a sheet of conveniently cut and creased corrugated cardboard onto itself. The package includes multiple walls and wall linings which are at least partially opposed to one another. Certain wall linings are glued to the walls against which they are opposed in order to prevent the package from opening due to the cardboard sheet with which it is made being unfolded. An electrically conductive track is printed on the cardboard sheet at the inner face of the latter so that an opening of the package causes damage to the track. The package further includes an electronic device coupled to the conductive track and adapted to detect damage thereto, i.e. an alteration of one or more electric features of the track. Each of the wall linings glued to one or more walls of the package includes an easy tear-off-line intersecting the conductive track.

Cork wiring device for closure of a stopper of a bottle of champagne or other effervescent drink
Generally described, aspects of the disclosed subject matter are directed to a cork wiring device for closure of a stopper of a bottle of champagne or other effervescent drink. The cork wiring device generally includes an assembly made of metal wire and provided with two parts, namely on the one hand a cage having three legs, and on the other hand a band joined to a free end of each of said legs. The cork wiring device may also include a plate associated with the cage to constitute an interface, the three legs meeting at their end opposite to their free end, forming a loop, and the plate may include three exclusively lateral grooves, each of said lateral grooves being associated with one of said legs and intended to receive a portion of the associated leg located between the free end and the loop.
STORAGE CONTAINER AND FLOATING LATCH
A storage container includes a base having an interior storage volume, a lid, and a latch configured to move between an unsecured position in which the lid is movable from the closed position and a secured position in which the lid is retained in the closed position. The latch is configured to extend through an aperture defined by the lid and the base. The latch includes an extended edge to prevent the latch from passing entirely through the aperture. The latch is captured by the lid and floats within the lid portion of the aperture. The latch also includes a resilient portion configured to engage an opening in the base portion of the aperture to selectively retain the lid and the body in the closed position when the latch is in the secured position. The latch is not permanently attached to the base or to the lid.
Dual aluminum tamper indicating tabbed sealing member
A tamper evident tabbed sealing member for sealing to a rim surrounding a container opening is described that includes a multi-layer laminate configured to isolate a residual ring of material that remains on a container land area upon seal removal.
