The lid has a planar area. The base has a second planar area. In the closed position, the first planar and the second planar area include a substantially flat area suitable for receipt of an adhesive membrane, such as a self-adhesive label. The substantially flat area includes an edge of the first planar area and at least part of the second planar area.

A second aperture is configured to receive the neck of the bottle, such that the bottle opening protrudes from the casing when the bottle body is received in the cavity. A first tether may be configured to facilitate releasably securing the casing to an object. A second tether is operatively coupled between the casing and the aperture on the bottle cap. The second tether is configured to secure the cap with the casing and to be frangibly removed from the casing prior to use of the bottle to dispense contents of the bottle.

A secure packaging for bottle-type containers having a body, a neck terminating in an opening into an interior of the bottle, and a cap for sealing the opening. The packaging may include a flexible casing having an interior cavity for receiving the bottle body, and a first aperture configured to admit the bottle body into the cavity. A first tether may be configured to facilitate releasably securing the casing to an object. A second tether is operatively coupled between the casing and the aperture on the bottle cap. The second tether is configured to secure the cap with the casing and to be frangibly removed from the casing prior to use of the bottle to dispense contents of the bottle.

In some embodiments, a container includes a cover placed on the container. Shrinkable material that is placed on the container where the shrinkable material is shrunk around the container and the cover. The shrinkable material includes a tamper indicator. A cap is placed over the shrinkable material where the cap covers the shrinkable material such that the shrinkable material is not shown below the cap.

A box edge security device, for a merchandise box having adjacent structural portions connected together along an edge, includes an edge cleat and a tag assembly. The edge cleat is adapted to be attached around an edge of a merchandise box, the merchandise box having a first structural portion and a second structural portion that are connected to one another along the edge, such that a first portion of the edge cleat is disposed against the first structural portion of the merchandise box and a second portion of the edge cleat is disposed against the second structural portion of the merchandise box. The tag assembly interlocks with the edge cleat and includes an electronics assembly, contained within a housing, that forms at least part of an alarm system. The electronics assembly may include an electronic article surveillance (EAS) tag.

A box edge security device, for a merchandise box having adjacent structural portions connected together along an edge, includes an edge cleat and a tag assembly. The edge cleat is adapted to be attached around an edge of a merchandise box, the merchandise box having a first structural portion and a second structural portion that are connected to one another along the edge, such that a first portion of the edge cleat is disposed against the first structural portion of the merchandise box and a second portion of the edge cleat is disposed against the second structural portion of the merchandise box. The tag assembly interlocks with the edge cleat and includes an electronics assembly, contained within a housing, that forms at least part of an alarm system. The electronics assembly may include an electronic article surveillance (EAS) tag.

A container, preferably in the form of a bucket, includes a closure for closing the container. The closure includes a closed lid plate that is placeable on a container rim bounding a container opening in order to cover the container opening. A lock ring is placeable over the lid plate and screwable to the container. The lid plate is fixable to the container with the lock ring. A seal ring is arranged between the container rim and lid plate for sealing the container opening. The lid plate has a rim portion with a receiving portion, in particular U-shaped, that receives the container rim and encompasses the container rim radially from the inside and outside.

At least a portion (204a) of the cap (204) is transparent.
