Panel for a ball
Methods for manufacturing a panel for a ball, in particular for a soccer ball, as well as panels manufactured by these methods and balls with such panels. A method comprises the following steps: providing a carrier material having an outer side and an inner side within a mold having at least one first and at least one second mold part. Three-dimensionally molding an outer layer of the panel on the outer side of the carrier material within the mold. Three-dimensionally molding an inner layer of the panel on the inner side of the carrier material using at least the first mold part.
VIDEO AND AUDIO PRESENTATION DEVICE, VIDEO AND AUDIO PRESENTATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A video and audio presentation device configured to present video and audio for sports training with less delay in physical reaction is provided. The device includes: an offset determination unit configured to determine a time-series offset t.sub.offset obtained by correcting a time difference t.sub.diff on a basis of a correction coefficient α, the time difference t.sub.diff representing a time difference between A.sub.real and A.sub.mix, or a time difference between A.sub.VR and A.sub.mix, where a physical reaction A.sub.real represents time-series data of physical reaction to an incoming object in a real environment, a physical reaction A.sub.VR represents time-series data of physical reaction to an incoming object presented in a virtual reality environment, and a physical reaction A.sub.mix represents time-series data of physical reaction to an incoming object presented in a semi-virtual reality environment; a video presentation unit configured to present video in the semi-virtual reality environment; and an audio presentation unit configured to shift audio corresponding to the video on a basis of the time-series offset t.sub.offset so that the audio precedes arrival of the video, and to present the shifted audio in the semi-virtual reality environment.
System, method, and apparatus for providing an immersive experience for a sports or game simulation using a ball
A system for creating a virtual environment is disclosed. The system has a barrier screen configured to stop an object including a ball that is moved toward the barrier, including a first barrier screen portion that is a cylinder section, and a second barrier screen portion that is disposed above the first barrier screen portion, wherein the second barrier screen portion is an elliptical section. The system also has at least one projector configured to project an image of the virtual environment on the barrier screen, at least one sensor configured to sense data associated with the object, and a computing device configured to control the at least one projector to change the image based on the sensed data.
Athletic training system and method
An athletic training system (200) has a data recording system (202) and a data engine (204). The data recording system (202) is configured to record an athletic competition event. The event may have a first team of players competing against a second team of players. The data engine (204) is configured to receive data associated with the recorded athletic competition event. The data engine (204) processes the data and displays the data as a replay of the event in animated form.
Cameras for autonomous picture production
A camera for facilitating autonomous picture production includes an imager for capturing an image stream, a signal processor for processing the image stream into a plurality of image data paths, at least one image stream output, and a memory for cyclically buffering images of at least two of the plurality of image data paths, into separate circular buffers, respectively, and for buffering one or more output image streams of the camera. A camera for facilitating autonomous picture production produces a standard resolution and rate image stream and a slow-motion image stream of an action of interest.
Magnetic practice targets
A practice target that includes: a front face; a rear face; a side face with a plurality of pockets, including first and second sets of pockets into which are disposed first and second sets of magnets. The first and second sets of magnets are identical in shape but are oriented opposite each other so that when the practice targets are stacked they have mutual attraction instead of being repelled by like magnets. The magnets include notches/cutouts/protrusions/etc. that match with similar structures in the pockets to hold them in place in the pockets. There are off-center pin holes through the magnets that make sure that they are oriented correctly during injection molding. There are netting grooves between the plurality of pockets and a tether aperture with a tether for attaching to a net.
TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A method can include determining physical characteristics of a trainee, adjusting a target zone based on the physical characteristics, adjusting one or more parameters of a delivery device based on the physical characteristics, projecting an object toward the target zone along a trajectory, and scoring a performance score of the trainee to track the object along a portion of the trajectory. A method can include projecting an object toward a target zone along a trajectory, a trainee attempting to impact the object at an appropriate location with a desired impact location of a sport tool, capturing imagery that contains the object at the appropriate location and the desired impact location of the sport tool, determining horizontal and vertical distances between the desired impact location and the object arriving at the appropriate location, and scoring a performance based on the horizontal and vertical distances.
TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A method can include projecting one or more objects along one or more pre-determined trajectories toward a target zone, with each having a diameter less than a diameter of a regulation table tennis ball, the trainee attempting to prevent the one or more objects from entering the target zone and scoring the ability of the trainee. A method can include displaying a first video to a trainee that explains setup for a delivery device, setting up the delivery device based on the first video, projecting an object along a pre-determined trajectory toward a target zone proximate the trainee, wherein the object has a diameter that is less than a diameter of a regulation table tennis ball, and scoring an ability of the trainee to interact with the object at the target zone.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL EXPANDABLE MODULAR EXERCISE LADDER
A multi-directional expandable modular agility exercise ladder has spaced rows of two part paired rungs having overlapping ends joined to each by a pivot post forming a variable angle chevron prow. Outer ends of the paired rungs are interlocked to two parallel spaced bands to complete the ladder. A hook and loop pad interlock is used. Alternately, spaced key holes extend through the bands with the outer ends of the rungs having downwardly extending retainer poles secured in a respective key hole. Alternately, releasable spring clamps hand movable along the band length secure rung ends to the bands.
BALL WITH INTERIOR REINFORCEMENT PATCHES
Soccer balls, volley balls and the like are provided with interior reinforcing patches disposed over the stitched seems to prevent thread breakage, seam separation and water incursion while at the same time enhancing the softness and durability of the ball's structural panels.
