Panel structure with scored and folded facing
A panel structure having a low-density core that can withstanding loads normal to a first primary surface, and a first facing of high-density sheet material that can extend along the first primary surface. The high-density sheet material can be laminated on the core such that the laminated core and facing cooperatively resist bending loads and loads along the primary surface. The first facing can extend from the first primary surface on a side of the core along a secondary surface, which can be non-parallel to the first primary surface. The first facing can bend along a score line between the first primary surface and the secondary surface.
Polyethylene resin multilayer foam sheet, interleaving paper for glass plates, and method for manufacturing polyethylene resin multilayer foam sheet
The multilayer foam sheet includes a polyethylene resin foam layer and a resin layer laminated on at least one of the two surfaces of the foam layer. The resin layer has a multilayer structure formed from a surface layer and an intermediate layer. Both the surface layer and the intermediate layer contain a polyethylene resin and a polymeric antistatic agent. The polymeric antistatic agent is contained in the intermediate layer at a proportion of 30-70 wt % (inclusive). The polymeric antistatic agent is contained in the surface layer at a proportion of at least 5 wt % to less than 30 wt %.
DRY ICE BOX
A thermocarrier box includes an outer shell and insulated panels coupled to a bottom wall of the outer shell and to side walls of the outer shell. The thermocarrier box includes an inner box positioned within the outer shell such that a bottom wall of the inner box and side walls of the inner box are each coupled to one of the insulated panels. Another insulated panel is positioned over the inner box. A lid is positioned over the another insulated panel such that the another insulated panel is positioned between the lid and the inner box. Methods of assembly are provided.
EXTENSIBLE PAPER AND ITS USE IN THE PRODUCTION OF EXPANDED SLIT PACKAGING WRAP AND VOID FILL PRODUCTS
An extensible slit sheet paper product is produced having an expandable slit pattern that forms open cells upon expansion of the paper product. The paper product is an extensible paper having an extensibility in the range from 1-9% in the machine direction and 1-5% in the cross direction. The expansion produces an array of hexagonal cells. The expanded extensible paper can be used to wrap an object for shipping by wrapping and cushioning the object in the expanded slit sheet material. The extensible, expandable slit sheet paper can be wrapped around itself to produce a void fill product.
Packaging devices, methods, and systems
A packaging system for a medical device includes a box with a base inside the box. The base may include a removable portion, and an adhered portion that is secured to a bottom of the box. The adhered portion may include a wheel guide to align a cabinet onto which an object, such as a medical device, is to be unloaded from the adhered portion of the base. In one example, the packaging system may include a box and a base arranged inside the box. The base may include a removable portion and an adhered portion that is secured to a bottom of the box, the adhered portion comprising a wheel guide to align a cabinet onto which the medical device is unloaded from the adhered portion of the base.
Packaging system for a hot water heater
A packaging system for a hot water heater includes an outer box, a top insert, an offset filler, a base insert, and one or more side panels. The top insert contacts a top surface of the hot water heater and a top inside surface of outer box. The offset filler is coupled to the top insert and is sandwiched between the hot water heater and the outer box. The base insert contacts the bottom surface of the hot water heater and a bottom inside surface of the outer box. The base insert includes raised perimeter structures that form a shape that matches a shape of the bottom surface of the hot water heater. Each side panel includes a raised pattern.
Pitcher assembly for refrigerator appliance
A pitcher assembly includes a pitcher including a wall connected to a bottom defining a picture volume. The wall defines an opening at the top edge of the pitcher and a spout is formed at the top edge of the pitcher. A lid is removably fitted to the opening, the lid having a vertical wall extending from the skirt at the spout, and a second wall extending into the spout. The first and second walls cooperate with the spout and the skirt to at least partially block liquid from unintentionally splashing out of the pitcher volume. The lid may also include an energy-absorbing material disposed between a vertically displaceable float body and the lid.
Polylactic acid-based custom corrugate packaging and associated methods
A method for adhering polylactic acid-based (such as polylactic acid resin (PLA) foam) custom product packaging to a corrugate surface is provided. The corrugate surface is heated to a suitable temperature and the PLA foam may be pressed against the corrugate surface for a second or seconds to rapidly adhere the PLA foam to the corrugate surface. The adhesion between the corrugate surface and the PLA foam may be sufficient to maintain the adhesion, but may also allow for the PLA foam to be removed from the corrugate surface.
Keyless Battery Powered Locking Container Cap Cover
A keyless battery powered locking container cap cover comprising hinged left and right elements configured with a lid and bottom shelfs remaining unlocked after being closed and latched around a container cap then freely rotating around said cap where power is turned off saving energy while further configured with a dual locking mechanism comprising a flat metal latching spring positioned in front of a hidden locking switch where depressing an unlatching button instantly activates a motorized offset cam to drive a secondary pin loaded locking spring into a locked position whereby the hinged left and hinged right elements will be pinned together locking the invention where activating a remote transmitter that sends a bypass signal to a lock switch on the invention before depressing the latch release button prevents the locking function; if not the secondary pin loaded locking spring will instantly lock the invention; no DOT approval.
Packaging material
The invention relates to the packaging of one or more articles in a packaging sheet material which is moveable from a first condition to a second, expanded, condition to improve the packaging effect of the sheet material. In accordance with the invention the sheet material includes a first portion with apertures which can be moved to an open position to create the second, expanded, condition and at least one, but typically a plurality of spaced apart, second portions which have no apertures, or a different shape and/or pattern of apertures than the apertures of the first portion, so as to form a surface of the said second portion more suitable for the application of a label and/or indications thereon when the sheet material is in the second expanded condition.
