System for Packaging a Plurality of Packages on a Pallet
A system for packaging a plurality of packing units consisting of packaging sleeves and packing-unit overwrapping on a pallet is illustrated and described, including: a plurality of packing units made of packaging sleeves and packing-unit overwrapping, the packing unit overwrapping enclosing the packaging sleeves; a pallet for stacking the packing units; pallet overwrapping, which encloses the packing units stacked on the pallet; and at least one insert provided under and/or between and/or over the stacked packing units, wherein: the packaging sleeves are produced from a composite material; each packaging sleeve has a front side and a rear side; the front side and the rear side of each packaging sleeve are separated from one another by folding edges, along which the packaging sleeve is folded flat; each packaging sleeve has two openings which are arranged on opposite sides of the packaging sleeve; each packaging sleeve has a longitudinal seam which connects two edges of the composite material to form a peripheral packaging sleeve; and the pallet overwrapping is produced from a plastics film. In order to allow space-saving, cost-effective and secure transport of packaging sleeves, the invention proposes that the packing-unit overwrapping be produced from a plastics film.

Grouped screw bunch and related method and machine for production of the same
A screw bunch includes a plurality of screws grouped together in a bunch with the enlarged head end of each screw toward a first end of the bunch and the pointed tip end of each screw toward a second end of the bunch. The screws are held together in the bunch by a band structure that extends around the bunch and that engages with the shanks of a multiplicity of the screws that are located along a perimeter of the bunch. The enlarged head ends of the screws are axially staggered. The band structure may be formed by a shrink wrap plastic band that can be separated from the bunch manually to enable individual retrieval of screws from the bunch for use. A method and machinery for production of the screw bunch is also provided.

BUNDLED PRODUCT AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
A shippable bundled product including a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle. The bundle is packaged by a second package material. The second package material has a shrinkage factor relative to the bundle of less than zero.

Method for bundle-packaging batches of products, heating device and facility with such a device
The present invention relates to a method for bundle-packaging batches of products, wherein products are moved in a longitudinal running direction, grouped into batches and wrapped with a film of heat-shrinkable film. Each wrapped batch is heated to form a contraction of each sheet around said batch. Heating of a batch is performed by the circulation of at least one heated air stream and by the expulsion of said stream toward the interior of the enclosure of an oven provided, successively, with first and second sections; the sheet is cooled; during heating, along at least a part of the first section, a first air stream is shaped discontinuously and expelled toward the interior of said enclosure. The method consists, during heating, along said second section, in shaping a second stream as an air knife and expelling said air knife toward said sheet to be smoothed.

LIGHTWEIGHT PERFORATED CASE WRAP
An apparatus and methods are provided for a lightweight shrink-wrapped bottle pack. The shrink-wrapped bottle pack comprises a group of bottles arranged in a side-by-side disposition. A case wrapping film is shrink-wrapped around the group of bottles to fixate the side-by-side disposition. Holes in the case wrapping film allow top portions of the bottles to protrude through the case wrapping film. A portion of the case wrapping film surrounding each of the holes forcibly contacts a bell comprising each bottle such that the case wrapping film fixates the side-by-side disposition of the group of bottles. The holes facilitate using a shorter portion of case wrapping film than when extending the case wrapping film over the top portion of the group of bottles, producing a lighter weight bottle pack than conventionally shrink-wrapped bottle packs.
