In a packaging for a circular insertion tool, in particular a circular saw blade, with a planar main body, which has a holding flange for fixing an associated insertion tool on the planar main body, the planar main body has a polygonal outer circumference, with a tab which is bendable in the direction of the holding flange being arranged on at least one side of the polygonal outer circumference.

PACKAGING DEVICE

A packaging device includes a first portion and a second portion connected to the first portion by way of a first fold line. The first portion includes a first primary edge opposite the first fold line. First and second secondary edges extend between the first fold line and the first primary edge, and an attachment mechanism is provided adjacent the first primary edge. The second portion includes a second primary edge opposite the first fold line. Third and fourth secondary edges extend between the first fold line and the second primary edge. An arm is defined by two cut lines extending from a section of the second portion closer to the first fold line than the second primary edge, and ending in a tab that extends beyond a distal end of the second primary edge.

Hearing aid battery packaging

A battery package includes a card, a cover, a tray, and batteries. The cover is attached to the card and includes a door and an opening formed in the front of the cover and the peripheral edge of the cover. The door is movable between an open position to provide access to the opening and a closed position. The tray is positioned between the card and the cover and includes multiple receptacles. Each battery is positioned within one of the receptacles. The card includes a recess in the outer edge of the card at a battery removal position. The tray is movable relative to the card and the cover to selectively align one of the receptacles with the opening in the battery removal position. With the door in the open position, the battery in the receptacle in the battery removal position is accessible through the opening.

An article includes a panel of elastic material including an elastic strip and a plurality of elastic bands. The elastic strip has opposed first and second longitudinal edges. The plurality of elastic bands are rupturably connected to the first edge of the elastic strip, each of the bands configured as a loop surrounding a first aperture. A method for obtaining an individual elastic band from an article is also described. The article includes a panel of elastic material including an elastic strip and a plurality of elastic bands. The method includes pulling the individual band from the elastic strip to rupture a connection between the individual band and the elastic strip.

TWIST-TIE DISPENSER

A twist-tie dispenser comprises a twist-tie cluster and a base. The base includes a top portion, a rear wall extending downward from the top portion, and an open front. A latching structure for removably mounting the base to a fixture is defined at least in part by a first hook-like extension protruding from the rear wall of the base, the first hook-like extension defining a pocket formed by an upper stop surface and a vertical retention surface, the latching structure also defined at least in part by a flexible portion of the rear wall that is configured to elastically deflect through a cut-out provided on the rear wall in a direction from the rear wall toward the open front when a rod-like mounting structure of the fixture is inserted into the pocket of the first hook-like extension, the flexible portion also defining a lower stop surface that opposes the upper stop surface of the first hook-like extension when the rod-like mounting structure is within the pocket and is captured between the lower stop surface and the upper stop surface.

PACKAGING CARD HAVING RIGIDITY FEATURES

A packaging backer card has features running along at least one edge thereof to create rigidity in the card. The features imparting rigidity may be integral with the backer card and may lie flat, in the same plane as the backer card, in a flattened configuration. The features imparting rigidity may be formed by folding at least a portion of the backer card along at least one side, where one or more tabs may be used to retain and lock the folds in the folded configuration. The folded configuration may create one or more longitudinal fold lines that contribute to reducing the likelihood of flexing, bending or drooping of the backer card. The backer card may be used to secure an item, such as a medical device, thereto.
