The bowling ball enclosure includes a flexible inner vapor barrier layer and a flexible outer layer that are made of a polymer material, the inner layer forming an interior region that receives the bowling ball. The bowling ball enclosure also includes a bottom portion and a top portion, wherein the top portion is positionable from a first position to a second position to encapsulate the bowling ball. In the first position, the top portion being in an open position to receive the bowling ball into the interior region. In the second position, the top portion being in a closed position to encapsulate the bowling bowl. A thermal resistor can be located between the bowling ball enclosure and a support surface.
Bowling visual swing training apparatus with line laser
A Bowling Visual Swing Training Apparatus is disclosed. The embodiment specifically relates to training devices which assist a bowler in the development of correct and proper swing fundamentals. The embodiment utilizes laser line technology to provide an optical indication of the directional and rotational aspects of the bowling arm and hand throughout the swing as they relate to a preferred swing reference line, as a means of training and improving one's swing fundamentals and technique. The embodiment is compact in size, made of durable plastic, or other lightweight material, and is designed to be worn on a single finger, primarily, but not specifically, the index finger. The embodiment combines the laser module and its battery power pack into one compact unit, affixed to a comfortable finger plate that conforms to the user's finger, and is attached to the finger by means of elastic Velcro straps or other suitable securing means.
Smart device
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a camera coupled to a processor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
BOWLING BALL RAMP INCLUDING EMBEDDED LIGHTING AND/OR SOUND
A bowling ball ramp includes a substantially transparent, generally hollow, tubular stand assembly, a substantially transparent, generally hollow, tubular ramp assembly structurally coupled to the stand assembly, and lighting embedded within at least one of the stand assembly and the ramp assembly. A detection sensor is provided for detecting a bowling ball on the ramp assembly. Electronics activate the lighting to illuminate the stand assembly and/or the ramp assembly in response to the detection sensor detecting the bowling ball on the ramp assembly. The electronics may also activate an audio speaker to produce an audible sound in response to the detection sensor detecting the bowling ball on the ramp assembly. The embedded lighting and/or the audible sound enhance the enjoyment of a bowling experience for a child or handicapped individual using the bowling ball ramp.
OBJECTS AND METHODS FOR BUILDING SMALL MUSCLE FIBERS AND NERVES USING FLUID DISPOSED IN THE OBJECTS
The present disclosure provides for various objects (weights, playing apparatuses, balls, clothing, etc.) that have liquid disposed in them to assist in building and strengthening small muscle fibers and/or nerves. The various objects can include weights, playing apparatuses such as objects that can be swung in sports, balls, and clothing or other objects that can be worn by humans or other animals. The objects include fluid paths and redirections walls disposed within the fluid paths to direct fluid flow to particular areas within the objects. The designated areas to where fluid flow is directed aid in development of small muscle fibers and/or nerves due to the fluid sloshing around at those particular locations. Methods of making and using the various objects disclosed are also provided.
Systems and methods utilizing a ball including one or more sensors to improve pitching performance
A ball, and in particular a baseball or softball, including one or more sensors such as accelerometers and/or inertial measurement units, and systems and methods using the same to improve a pitcher's pitching performance are described herein. In some embodiments, the ball may include one or more inertial measurement units and/or accelerometers capable of monitoring motion of the ball while it is thrown. Once a ball is thrown, in response to the inertial measurement unit(s) and/or accelerometer(s), one or more indicators may be caused to perform an action. For example, one or more user interfaces may be used to display graphs for illustrating a trajectory of a ball after it has been thrown. Various statistics, such as velocity, a change in vertical displacement, a change in horizontal displacement, and a spin rate may also be indicated on the user interface.
CIRCULATING RING SUPPORT FOR BOWLING BALL ENCLOSURE
A method and a bowling ball enclosure are provided for encasing and reducing temperature fluctuations of and within a bowling ball. The bowling ball enclosure includes an inner layer and an outer layer that are made of a polymer material, the inner layer forming an interior region that receives the bowling ball, at least one of the inner layer and the outer layer being monolithic. The bowling ball enclosure also includes a bottom portion and a top portion, the top portion being reinforced with a stiffener to support the top portion, the stiffener being connected to at least one of the inner layer and the outer layer, the top portion being positionable from a first position to a second position to encapsulate the bowling ball. In the first position, the top portion being in an open position to receive the bowling ball into the interior region. In the second position, the top portion being in a closed position to encapsulate the bowling bowl, the top portion being folded towards the bottom portion to decrease the amount of empty space in the interior region. A bottom perforated circulating ring support is located between the bowling ball enclosure and a support surface, wherein the bottom perforated circulating ring support provides for a circulation of air between the support surface and the bottom of the bowling ball enclosure.
Bowling ball launcher
A bowling ball launcher has a frame and a rail oriented from a front of the frame to a back of the frame. A push pad is configured to slide along the rail. An elastic mechanism is coupled to the push pad and extends toward the front of the frame. A winch is coupled to the push pad toward the back of the frame. The winch includes a motor, a winch wheel, and a cable extending from the winch wheel to the push pad. The winch also includes a clutch between the motor and winch wheel. A shock absorber is disposed near the front of the frame. A plurality of position sensors is attached to the frame along the rail. A power meter is configured to move the push pad to one of the position sensors by operation of the winch.
