The present application provides a ventable package capable of releasing pressure upon the application of heat or internal pressure. The ventable package may include a container and a lid. The lid may include a sealing layer attached to the container and a foil layer attached to the sealing layer. The sealing layer may include one or more slits therein such that, upon the application of heat or internal pressure, the foil layer separates from the sealing layer about the one or more slits to release the pressure therein.

A package for accommodating products comprises a first portion hingedly connected to a first side of a rear panel, a second portion hingedly connected to a second side of the rear panel, the second side being opposite to the first side. At least one of the first and second portion comprises at least one recess adapted to accommodate a product. The first portion, the second portion and the rear panel at least partly form a receptacle adapted for accommodating said at least one recess. The first portion and the second portion are movable between an open state of the package in which the at least one recess is accessible to a user and a closed state of the package in which the at least one recess is inaccessible to a user.

A consumer product package includes a package body that has a front wall, a back wall opposite the front wall, a first cavity having a display surface such that the display surface is disposed between the front and back walls to contain a first consumer product, and a closure slot disposed between the front wall and the display surface; and a lid pivotally connected to the package body opposite the front wall. The lid includes an opening tab positioned along an edge of the lid and an opening flap positioned along the edge of the lid. The lid is pivotable between at least an open position and a closed position, wherein when the lid is in the closed position, the opening flap is received within the closure slot, and when disposed within the closure slot, the package has an Average Lift Force from about 0.01 N to about 4.0 N.

A consumer product package includes a package body that has a front wall, a back wall opposite the front wall, a first cavity having a display surface such that the display surface is disposed between the front and back walls to contain a first consumer product, and a closure slot disposed between the front wall and the display surface; and a lid pivotally connected to the package body opposite the front wall. The lid includes an opening tab positioned along an edge of the lid and an opening flap positioned along the edge of the lid.
