CONTAINER AND A COVER HAVING A SEALING STRUCTURE
A container and a cover having a sealing structure includes: the container including a bottom and a side wall having one end connected to the bottom to form a space, and another end of the side wall that is not connected to the bottom is an open end, the side wall having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface faces the space, and the inner surface has a first hook portion; and the cover disposed at the open end of the container, the cover has a covering portion and a second hook portion, the covering portion covers the open end, and the second hook portion is hooked on the first hook portion. The covering portion tightly covers the open end, and the second hook portion is hooked to the first hook portion, so that the coupling between the cover and the container is more stable.
CAN LID
A can lid is provided for excellence in an explosion-proof function and a suitability for a hammering inspection. A buckling-inducing section that is easily deformed angularly is formed on a plurality of sites in a circumferential portion of a panel section. A score line intersects with a virtual line passing through a center of the panel section and a center of the buckling-inducing section. End portions of the score line are situated closer to the center of the panel section than a virtual boundary line extending perpendicular to the virtual line. A circular depression is formed at the center of the panel section. A slant wall section is formed between the buckling-inducing section and an inner side wall, and the slant wall section is joined to the inner side wall through a curved portion.

Drum for Transporting and/or Storing Batteries and the Use of such a Drum
A drum for transporting and/or storing batteries, the drum having an internal storage space having a volume, and the drum being provided with a lid to close off the storage space The lid is provided with one or more openings for venting gas from the storage space to the atmosphere. One or more openings have a total surface area of at least 1.0 square centimeter per liter volume of the storage space. On an outside of the lid is at least one sheet of foil which covers a first group of two or more of said openings, in which the sheet of foil is connected to the lid completely around the first group of openings.
CONTAINER CLOSURE WITH FLEXIBLE MEMBRANE
A closure for a polymeric container configured to be filled with a commodity by a hot-fill process. The closure includes an outer metallic ring and a flexible membrane. The flexible membrane is removably sealed across the ring and is configured to be drawn from an outward, pre-fill configuration to an inward, post-fill configuration in response to a vacuum created within the container during the hot-fill process. In the inward, post-fill configuration the flexible membrane is concave relate to an outer side of the closure.
CLOSURE FOR FLUID-TIGHT SEALING OF A VESSEL FILLED WITH A SUB-STANCE, CONTAINER WITH A VESSEL AND A CLOSURE AS WELL AS METHOD FOR FILLING A CONTAINER WITH A SUBSTANCE
The present invention relates in particular to a closure (3) for the fluid-tight closing of a vessel (2) filled with a substance (5), wherein the closure (3) is provided with a fluid-tight pressure-transmission element (9) and wherein the closure (3) is provided with a base body (8) to which the pressure-transmission element (9) can be attached in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the pressure-transmission element (9) is deflectable by pressurisation without incurring damage, for biological inactivation of microorganisms present in the substance (5), wherein the closure is configured in such a way that the pressure-transmission element (9), when the vessel (2) is closed with the closure (3), is held (clamped between the vessel (2) and the base body). The invention also relates to a corresponding container (1) and a corresponding method.
Headspace modification method for removal of vacuum pressure and apparatus therefor
To modify the headspace in a container to remove vacuum pressure, a container has a seal or cap which may provide a temporary opening into the container which is sealable under compression to provide a controlled raising of the internal pressure as the heated contents of the container cools. A sealing chamber (84) may enable the introduction of a fluid into the headspace (23b) to force the fluid level (40) lower. Other methods and apparatus are described.
Bottle crown with opener assembly
A pull tab crown for a bottle or other container provides an opener secured to the top of the crown. The crown has an annular skirt with an annular edge. Score lines extend from the opener assembly to the skirt. One of the score lines is curvilinear and terminates at the annular edge. A second score line has a segment that extends from the opener assembly to an endpoint substantially spaced from the bottom annular edge of the skirt.
Container closure with vacuum-indicating pull tab
A package that includes a container and a container closure having a vacuum-indicating pull tab. The container includes a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, a mouth, and a sealing surface. The container closure includes a seal membrane sealingly and removably coupled to the container sealing surface to seal the container, and a pull tab configured to extend from the seal membrane. Manipulation of the pull tab provides an indication of the presence or absence of a vacuum in the package.
LID FOR A STORAGE CONTAINER
There is provided herein a lid for a vacuum storage container, which contains a lid body having a top side and an opposing bottom side, the lid comprising one or both of (1) a vacuum pressure-indicating nipple having an upper length portion having a first color corresponding to a pressurized position, and a lower length portion having a second color corresponding to an unpressurized position, and (2) a pressure-release valve having a vacuum-sealed position and a vacuum-release position, and a collar on the bottom side of the lid body having an open end, the pressure-release valve extending from the top side of the lid body into the collar on the bottom side, and a sheath covering the open end of the collar on the bottom side, which sheath reduces a vacuum loss when the pressure-release valve is in the vacuum-sealed position while permitting a release of vacuum when the pressure-release valve is in the vacuum-release position.
