Container Cover That Facilitates Creating Negative Pressure and Long Time Sealing
A container cover for storage container includes a rotary device, an outer cover member, an inner cover member, a first guide block, second guide block, a pumping piston and a piston seat so arranged that when the rotary device is driven by a user to rotate the first guide block, guide rods of the first guide block are moved along a first continuous wave-shaped track of the second guide block, causing the second guide block and the pumping piston to move alternatively up and to further pump air out of the storage container through an air-pimping hole of the piston seat to create a negative pressure. Further, a first spring member an upper rail seat can be provided to balance the movement of the pumping piston and to stabilize the rotation of the first and second guide blocks. A relief valve rod can be selectively used for giving a visual indication indicative of the presence of a negative pressure in the storage container.

DETECTION OF SEAL INTEGRITY ON PRODUCTS USING RFID
A system and method for determining and communicating the status of a sealable container. The system comprises a seal status detection component that is positioned adjacent to or on a lid comprising a deflectable component. The lid engages the sealable container to form a seal. The seal status detection component moves between a first state of operation where there is a gap between the seal status detection component and the deflectable component of the lid, and a second state of operation where the seal status detection component is adjacent to or in contact with the deflectable component of the lid. The seal status detection component has a first frequency response to interrogation by a reader when the seal is intact, and a second frequency response when the seal is broken.
Container Closure with Vacuum-Indicating Pull Tab
A package that includes a container and a container closure having a vacuum-indicating pull tab. The container includes a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, a mouth, and a sealing surface. The container closure includes a seal membrane sealingly and removably coupled to the container sealing surface to seal the container, and a pull tab configured to extend from the seal membrane. Manipulation of the pull tab provides an indication of the presence or absence of a vacuum in the package.
SEALED CONTAINER WITH INNER LID
A sealed container with an inner lid 1a includes an openable and closable outer lid 3 to cover an opening 24 of a container body 2; and an inner lid 5a including a frame 53 having a flange 52 on its upper end and a circumferential outer side-surface 55, and an easily elastically deformable partition 51 having a dome shape projecting downward inside the frame 53. The outer lid includes a central area 12 having a dome-shaped concave portion inside a top face portion 10, and a peripheral area 13 surrounding the concave portion. The central area faces the partition and the peripheral area contacts the flange portion in a closed state. The central area has an inner surface formed such that, when the partition deforms to project upward, a surface area of the deformed partition is equal to or smaller than an initial surface area thereof.
Packaging system with an overcap
An overcap for a roast and ground coffee container is disclosed. The overcap can include a gasket as an airtight seal between the overcap and the container that preserves a clicking sound upon closure by an end user and an outer portion that gives an end user a visual and touchable stimulus.
Expandable container having lid for providing headspace control in a food can
Expandable containers having lids for providing headspace control in food can are disclosed. In one embodiment, a process for producing a lid closure for cans containing foodstuff, the lid providing tightness during sterilization or pasteurization in a continuous autoclave, said cans being closed with a can closure may include (1) producing the can closure from an annular ring adapted for seaming to the can body and a lid panel having an outer ring band sealingly affixed onto an inner flat web; and (2) reshaping a central area of the lid panel by deep drawing to a smooth bowl shape or a dome shape with a plane surface, as original shape, a material of this central area thereby solidified or hardened to such an extent that under an increased pressure in a headspace of the can during a passage thereof through an autoclave station, the central area changes to an axially outwardly bulged shape that is mirror-inverted with respect to the original shape and, during a subsequent cooling of the can, the central area automatically returns substantially to the original shape thereof. The reshaping may be done prior to attaching the lid to the filled can, and the lid pane may be limited by an outer ring band.
Container closure
A closure for mounting on top of bottles and other containers includes a floating lid and a lid-retainer ring. The closure is configured to withstand a high pressure and high temperature sterilization process known as retort.
Container for aseptic content
The present invention relates to a container equipped with a closure system particularly adapted for aseptically filled fluid contents. The invention also relates to the use of said container in a method for detecting spoilage of its fluid content.
Closure for fluid-tight sealing of a vessel filled with a substance, container with a vessel and a closure as well as method for filling a container with a substance
The present invention relates in particular to a closure (3) for the fluid-tight closing of a vessel (2) filled with a substance (5), wherein the closure (3) is provided with a fluid-tight pressure-transmission element (9) and wherein the closure (3) is provided with a base body (8) to which the pressure-transmission element (9) can be attached in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the pressure-transmission element (9) is deflectable by pressurisation without incurring damage, for biological inactivation of microorganisms present in the substance (5), wherein the closure is configured in such a way that the pressure-transmission element (9), when the vessel (2) is closed with the closure (3), is held (clamped between the vessel (2) and the base body). The invention also relates to a corresponding container (1) and a corresponding method.
