Packaging part for securing an item to be packed in an outer packaging
A packaging part (1) for securing an item to be packaged in an outer packaging, has at least one supporting body (2, 16) that acts as a decoupling element. The supporting body is formed as a hollow body and projects from a bearing base. The supporting body (2, 16) has a base with a relatively large cross-section in the area of the bearing base and tapers in a direction away from the bearing base. The supporting body (2, 16) further has in its shell surface at least one line of weakness (14) that divides the supporting body into an upper part and a lower part. The upper part of the supporting body (2, 16) can be pressed along the line of weakness (14), preferably completely, into the lower part under load.

SHIPPING CONTAINERS FOR BATTERIES
Shipping containers for batteries are described herein. An example shipping container includes a base defining a cavity, a lid to be coupled to a top of the base to substantially seal the cavity, and an absorbent pad disposed within the cavity to absorb liquid from the battery if the battery leaks.
ENCAPSULATING PACKAGING CUSHIONS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING ENCAPSULATING PACKAGING CUSHIONS
A packaging cushion is provided which has a bottom cushion piece, first and second side cushion pieces, a front cushion piece, a rear cushion piece, and a translated top cushion piece. The bottom cushion piece defines a void cavity and front entry portion. The first side cushion piece may be substantially perpendicular to the bottom cushion piece, and the second side cushion piece may be substantially perpendicular to the bottom cushion piece and opposite the first side cushion piece. The front cushion piece may be substantially perpendicular to the bottom cushion piece and may define an entry space adjacent to the front entry portion. The rear cushion piece may be substantially perpendicular to the bottom cushion piece and opposite the front cushion piece. The translated top cushion piece extends from the rear cushion piece and is displaced from the void cavity. The packaging cushion at least partially covers six sides of a product housed therein. Methods of packaging products and methods of manufacturing a one-piece encapsulating packaging cushion using a male mold and a female mold are also provided.

Base having mounting portions and elastic pieces for mitigating damaging forces experienced by a device positioned thereon
An apparatus according to one embodiment includes a base having at least three mounting points on an upper surface thereof, an elastic block above each of the mounting points, and an elastic panel coupled to, and extending along, the upper surface of the base in a region between the mounting points. An apparatus according to another embodiment includes a base having at least three mounting points on an upper surface thereof, an elastic block above each of the mounting points, and at least two elastic pads positioned in recesses in the upper surface of the base. An apparatus according to another embodiment includes a base having at least three mounting points on an upper surface thereof, and an elastic panel coupled to, and extending along, the upper surface of the base in a region between the mounting points. The apparatus further includes at least two elastic pads.
Inflation feature for package, inflation rig assembly, and method of inflating
An inflation feature for a shipping package, an inflation rig assembly for inflating a shipping package, and a method of inflating a shipping package. The method includes providing an inflation feature and an inflation rig assembly with corresponding alignment features, positioning the inflation feature of a shipping package, in an uninflated state, on to the inflation rig assembly in a first position, moving the inflation rig assembly to a second position, such that the shipping package is in fluid communication with an expansion material source, and inflating the shipping package to an inflated state.
Packaging Structure and Delivering Device
A packaging structure is used for carrying at least one carried object. The packaging structure comprises a carrying unit and a covering member. The carrying unit includes a supporting plate, at least one first side plate connected to the edge of the supporting plate, and at least one combing member. The supporting plate has two opposite surfaces, and the first side plate is able to bend to one of the surfaces of the supporting plate, so that the carrying unit is able to present as an unfolded state or a folded state. The first side plate is stacked on the supporting plate when the carrying unit is in the folded state, and the combing member keeps the first side plate stacked on the supporting plate. The covering member is used for positioning the carried object on the carrying unit. The invention also provides a delivering device for clamping and positioning a plurality of the aforementioned packaging structures in an upright manner.
Flexible structure with perforation-free inflation channel
The present disclosure relates to inflatable flexible structures. An inflation region may run longitudinally through the inflatable flexible structure allowing the inflation of chambers. The inflatable chambers may be separable at transverse lines of weakness formed by perforations. The inflation conduit may be free of the perforation. Additionally or alternatively, the perforations may be chevron shaped.
CUSHIONING DEVICE AND PACKAGING ASSEMBLY FOR BASE STATION ANTENNA
A cushioning device and a packaging assembly for a base station antenna includes an inner cushioning member and an outer cushioning member. Each cushioning member comprises an inflated airbag. The inner cushioning member is configured to abut an end cover of the housing of the base station antenna and to surround at least one protruding member that is provided on the end cover within a cavity defined by the inner cushioning member. The outer cushioning member is configured to cover both ends of the base station antenna.
