Membrane assembly for vacuum bagging and method of vacuum bagging

A membrane assembly for vacuum bagging includes an elongate sheet of flexible material capable of being rolled up into a cylindrical configuration and unrolled from the cylindrical configuration into a flattened-out configuration, a bistable tape spring attached to or captured by the elongate sheet, and an inflatable tube attached to or captured by the elongate sheet. The bistable tape spring has a first stable state which is a straightened-out state, a second stable state which is a rolled-up state, and a transition state between the first and second stable states. The inflatable tube is sealed at one end and has an orifice at the other end for admission of a fluid therethrough for inflation of the inflatable tube.

A device for protecting against an airborne contamination of a medical device including an air circulation cooling system is disclosed. The device also includes an enclosure defining a sealed receiving volume for the medical device, the protection device further comprising structure for circulating gas flow, within the enclosure, the gas flow having predetermined composition and/or quality criteria different from the external environment and able to be used by the cooling system of the medical device in operation.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGE DELIVERY
20230211936 · 2023-07-06 ·

A pharmaceutical package for carrying a pharmaceutical container includes a first housing and a second housing in the first housing. The second housing defines a compartment sized and shaped to receive and carry the pharmaceutical container. A gas chamber is disposed between the first and second housings. The gas chamber is configured to hold a gas in an inflated state of the gas chamber. A passage extends from the first housing to the second housing and defines a passageway extending there-between to allow the pharmaceutical container to be positioned in the compartment of the second housing by moving the pharmaceutical container through the passageway. One or more supports are connected to and extending between the first housing and the second housing. The one or more supports secure and hold the second housing in the first housing.

A variable volume evacuable container has a closed bottom, an open top, and a spirally threaded inner wall extending therebetween. A lid configured to threadably engage the inner wall has a top surface, a perimeter, a bottom surface, and a funneling volume within the perimeter and below the bottom surface. A duct is defined through the top and bottom surfaces at the apex of the funneling volume, and a moveable baffle is coupled to the top surface to cover or uncover the duct. The bottom surface slopes continuously upward to the apex so that downward rotation of the lid against contained liquid forces air out of the duct until the liquid fills the funneling volume, allowing the baffle to seal the liquid from air by covering the duct.

Multilayer structure and method for producing same, coating liquid, packaging material, and protective sheet for electronic devices

The present invention relates to a multilayer structure including a base (X) and a layer (Y), wherein the layer (Y) includes an aluminum-containing compound (A) and a phosphorus compound (BH) in which a phosphorus atom having at least one hydroxy group and a polar group are bonded via an alkylene chain having 3 to 20 carbon atoms or a polyoxyalkylene chain based on an alkylene having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, and the aluminum-containing compound (A) is a compound (Ab) including a reaction product (D) of an aluminum-containing metal oxide (Aa) and an inorganic phosphorus compound (BI).

Sterilizable pouches for medical devices

A flexible, sterilizable pouch includes a first gas-impermeable web, a second gas-permeable web, and the third gas-impermeable web. The webs are arranged and sealed to form a cavity portion of the pouch and a header portion of the pouch. The header portion of the pouch is gas-permeable through the second gas-permeable web. The cavity portion of the pouch is configured to hold a medical device for sterilization and is configured to be sealed from the header portion after sterilization, thereby making the cavity portion gas-impermeable. The header is also configured to be removed from the pouch, leaving the cavity portion.
