FOOD PACKAGE FOR AMINES CONTROL OR REMOVAL
A food package suitable for manufacturing as a closed packaging system contains an amine-absorbent element comprising ammonium-exchanged mordenite (MOR) type zeolites and optionally further comprises ZnO-doped Faujasite (FAU) type zeolites and/or CuO-doped ZSM-5 type zeolites.
PACKAGE CONFIGURED TO HOLD PRODUCTS AND HAVING ACTIVE MEMBER ATTACHED TO AN INTERIOR SURFACE THEREOF, AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A package for containing liquid-exuding product is formed of a single sheet of film that is folded and sealed at certain locations. The package can include an active member, optionally in the form of absorbent, that is heat staked or otherwise attached to a portion of the sheet of film such that the active member is located on an interior surface of a bottom of the folded and sealed package.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PRESERVATION OF ARTICLES
An apparatus includes a container for preservation of articles defining an atmospheric control mechanism that maintains an internal atmospheric composition within the container such that an interior cavity of the container that is devoid of various contaminants including UV radiation, dust, oxygen, water, atmospheric moisture (humidity), reactive oxygen species, airborne chemical pollutants and/or airborne chemicals not conducive to the longevity or preservation of the articles to be protected. As such, the container protects and preserves articles by preventing decay and deterioration of the articles due to light, temperature, dirt, mold, humidity, hydrolysis due to moisture in the air, and oxidation with exposure to air.
WAFER CONTAINER AND PURGE SYSTEM
In a wafer container, diffusers are positioned such that they are closer to a center line of the wafer container. This improves the distribution of purge gas within the wafer container. The diffusers can be positioned such that their position corresponds to a recessed central panel of the back wall. The diffusers can be positioned such that an angle between the diffusers relative to a center of a wafer contained within the wafer container is 60 degrees or less. The diffusers can be joined to purge ports by offset connectors oriented such that the diffusers are closer to the center line of the wafer container than the purge ports. The distance from each of the diffusers to the center line of the wafer container can be less than one fourth of a diameter of the wafer that the wafer container is configured to accommodate.

ROTISSERIE STRAINER DEVICE
A rotisserie strainer device; the rotisserie strainer device includes a platform sized and configured to be positionable in a bottom-portion of a host rotisserie-goods-container and elevate a rotisserie-food-item from an interior base section of the rotisserie-goods-container. The platform includes a planar section having a plurality of apertures allowing liquid to pass therethrough, a center support, a first-foot, and a second-foot. The platform is provided for elevating the rotisserie-food-item from the interior base section of the host rotisserie-goods-container in order to prevent contact between the rotisserie-food-item and the liquid collected in the bottom-portion of the host rotisserie-goods-container.
Systems and methods for nesting product packaging with strainer inserts
Systems and methods for nesting product packaging with strainer inserts are provided. Product packaging systems may include, for example, a product container with a lid and with a strainer insert disposed within the container. In some embodiments, the strainer inserts may be snapped into place in a channel, groove, or other retention feature of the parent container, thus permitting coupling without the use of adhesives or fasteners. The strainer inserts, when coupled within the parent containers, may define a drainage volume in which product fluids may drain to maintain the product separately from the fluids, e.g., to prolong shelf-life of the product.
PACKAGING
A preform is made by mixing cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) and light shielding pigment(s) with PET. The preform is stretch-blow moulded to produce a bottle which may be white and opaque. Light may be restricted from entering the bottle to thereby restrict degradation of the bottle contents from certain wavelengths of visible light.
CONTAINER FOR PACKAGING UNITS
The present disclosure describes a container that includes a body having a lower surface, an upper rim, and a plurality of side walls that extend between the lower surface and the upper rim, wherein the upper rim defines an opening to an interior space of the body, a flexible cover that covers the opening of the body and is bonded to the body along the upper rim, and gas-permeable material through which gas can enter and exit the interior space of the body. The upper rim of the body is spaced apart from any of the gas-permeable material, such that the cover can be peeled away from the upper rim to expose the opening while leaving the gas-permeable material intact.
Moisture Absorbing Device for Food Packaging
A moisture absorbing device, a method of preparing the device, and a method of reducing moisture inside of a food container with the device are disclosed. The device can include a carrier layer and an absorbent layer. The absorbent layer can include a hydrogel composition and, optionally, an adhesive. The device can further include a ventilation layer. The device can further include an attaching layer having an adhesive material on an exposed surface for attaching the device to the food container. The method of preparing the device can include a roll-to-roll assembly process. The method of reducing moisture inside of a food container with the device can include adding food to a first surface of the food container, attaching a moisture absorbing device to a second surface of the food container, and closing the food container.
