The base can be brought from the first position into a second position which lies closer to the film sealing the filling opening. The extraction capsule has a console which is molded on the lateral wall and directly and/or indirectly on which an extraction-side sealing film to be perforated lies, with a perforator passing through the sealing film in the second position.

Apertures are formed between the upper and lower portions of the cup such that the contents of the cup may mix with the contents of the main container following removal of an inner cap attached to the cup, and agitation of the main container. The cup and neck are sized to provide a void therebetween, thereby also permitting the substances to mix.

An air permeable interface is provided between the upper tray and lower tray to allow venting of steam from the lower tray during cooking. A cover is provided for the food tray. Each of the lower tray and the upper tray are formed of a material that is suitable for use in a microwave or conventional oven. Various constructions may be used to create the air permeable interface, such as lugs, ledges and lips. The upper tray may sit above the lower tray. The trays are nested loosely for ease of removal of the upper tray from the lower tray. Various configurations of cover may be used such as a sleeve, carton or lid. The upper tray may contain the higher value food product.

The side wall and the bottom wall of the second bowl portion are each defined by an inner surface that forms a cavity of the second bowl portion. The first container is disposed within the cavity of the second bowl portion and partially closes out an opening formed by formed by an upper end of the side wall of the second bowl portion to define: a first opening formed by the upper end of the side wall of the second bowl portion and an outer surface of the first container; and a second opening formed by the upper end of the side wall of the second bowl portion and an outer surface of the first container. A method is also disclosed.

Specifically, the disclosed technology is directed to an insert for use with disposable containers such as hot beverage cups. The insert may be wholly or partially formed of a container which is sealed enclosing a substance therein. The insert may be adapted to be detachably received into the base of common containers. In further embodiments, a system may employ the insert already having been nested into the base region of a provided beverage container. The substance enclosed in the insert may be, for example, an oral hygiene product such as mouthwash.
