Container for discharging different types of content
A dispensing container for discharging different types of contents includes a first container, a second container, a first pump module coupled to the first container, and a second pump module coupled to the second container. The first container includes an insertion space and a first interior space separated from the insertion space by a partition wall. The second container is inserted into the insertion space and includes a second interior space. The first pump discharges a first content filled in the first interior space, and the second pump module is inserted into the second interior space when the second container is inserted into the insertion space. The second pump module also discharges a second content filled in the second interior space.
PISTON FOR A COLLAPSIBLE CARTRIDGE
A piston for a collapsible cartridge for dispensing a material, the piston includes a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The rigid portion has a first diameter, a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be disposed in a material dispensing direction. The flexible portion has a second diameter less than the first diameter, a first end disposed in the material dispensing direction and a second end disposed in an opposite direction. The flexible portion is disposed on the first end of the rigid portion such that the second end of the flexible portion is disposed to face the first end of the rigid portion. The flexible portion is configured to radially expand and longitudinally compress upon a force applied to the first end of the flexible portion to compress the collapsible cartridge between the flexible portion and an interior surface of a support cartridge.
DISPENSING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING AN ADDITIVE MIXING DEVICE
A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.
Method and adapter for conveying plural liquid streams
A method and an adapter for improving the efficiency of a static mixer being used to mix reactive fluids such as epoxy adhesives. This allows either a small static mixer to be employed, or a smaller purge flow during dispensing operations.
Applicator and Operating Procedure or Using the Applicator According to the Invention
An improved applicator and a method for applying two or more components which can be mixed together. They are intended to effectively prevent unintentional and unintentional mixing of the components at the discharge orifices and any associated uncontrolled or undesirable reaction of the components with each other during downtime of the applicator. The applicator/application device (1) for the application of at least two components can be mixed with one another, comprising coaxially arranged one within the other component feeds (2, 3) with the component feeds (2a, 3a) for the respective at least two components and component discharge orifices (2b, 3b) associated with the component feeds (2, 3),
METHOD OF MAKING A TWO-COMPONENT PISTON, INJECTION MOLD FOR A TWO-COMPONENT PISTON, TWO-COMPONENT PISTON AND CARTRIDGE
A method of making a two-component piston, the two-component piston including a piston cover as the first component and a piston body as the second component. The piston cover is arranged adjacent to the piston body and is configured to be moved relative to the piston body.
CARTRIDGE FOR MULTI-COMPONENT MATERIALS
A cartridge for a multi-component material, includes a hollow cylindrical inner body which defines an inner space for receiving a first component, a hollow cylindrical outer body which receives the inner body such that an intermediate space for receiving a second component is formed between an outer wall of the inner body and an inner wall of the outer body, an outlet emanating from the inner body and in a first passage which connects an outlet opening of the outlet to the interior of the inner body is formed, and a second passage connecting the outlet opening of the outlet to the intermediate space present between the outer body and the inner body. An end portion of the inner space that faces the outlet lies at least substantially in the same plane as an end portion of the intermediate space that faces the outlet.
Re-Mixing Dispenser for Liquids in Plunger Tubes
A re-mixing dispenser for containing and dispensing a liquid. The dispenser may have one or more tubes, each containing a different liquid. At least one of the liquids may be re-mixed in situ, using a special two-piece plunger and plunger rod. A mixing piece of the two-piece plunger is moveable independently of a top piece and has blades that allow it to move through the liquid. A plunger rod is removably attached to the mixing piece and is operable to move the mixing piece up and down within the tube during mixing. The two plunger pieces are joined and moved as a single plunger during dispensing.
COAXIAL CARTRIDGE FOR MULTI-COMPONENT MATERIALS AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A COAXIAL CARTRIDGE
A coaxial cartridge for multi-component materials includes a head part having an outlet, an inner tube forming a first storage compartment configured to store a first component inner tube forms part of the outlet, and an outer tube. The inner tube is arranged within the outer tube at a longitudinal axis that is common to both the inner tube and the outer tube. A space formed between the outer tube and the inner tube forms a second storage compartment configured to store a second component. The outer tube forms a further part of the outlet.
