Dispensing system and method
A delivery system is provided that includes a device having a body extending along a longitudinal axis between proximal and distal ends. The body includes a proximal chamber, a distal chamber and a wall between the chambers. The body includes a first port in communication with the proximal chamber and a second port in communication with the distal chamber. A shaft is movably positioned within the body. The shaft extends through the wall and includes a proximal plunger positioned within the proximal chamber and a distal plunger positioned within the distal chamber. Pressure introduced through an opening in the proximal end moves the shaft such that the proximal plunger moves a fluid within the proximal chamber out of the first port and the distal plunger moves a fluid within the distal chamber out of the second port to simultaneously actuate a bone filler dispenser. Systems and methods are also provided.
Container for mixing heterogeneous contents
The container includes a first container formed therein with a content storage space and a container coupling space that are separately defined, a second container coupled to the container coupling space of the first container, a first discharge device installed in the first container to discharge contents stored in the first container, a second discharge device installed in the second container to discharge contents stored in the second container, and a push button configured to simultaneously actuate the first and second discharge devices and formed with first and second discharge passages connected to the first and second discharge devices, respectively, and first and second discharge ports. The second container is inserted into an opened lower portion of the container coupling space so that the second container is coupled with the first container, and the second discharge device installed in the second container is connected to the second discharge passage.
Vessels and methods for cryopreservation
An article including either a frame having an interior cavity, and a flexible liner situated within the interior cavity; or a deformable frame having an interior cavity. Either frame can receive a sample, such as liquid having suspended live cells, and cooling freezes the sample to a solid sample. The solid sample can be readily ejected from the article having either a frame with the flexible liner, or the deformable frame, without extensive thawing. The solid sample can be rapidly displaced from the article.
Piston for a collapsible cartridge
A piston for a collapsible cartridge for dispensing a material, the piston includes a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The rigid portion has a first diameter, a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be disposed in a material dispensing direction. The flexible portion has a second diameter less than the first diameter, a first end disposed in the material dispensing direction and a second end disposed in an opposite direction. The flexible portion is disposed on the first end of the rigid portion such that the second end of the flexible portion is disposed to face the first end of the rigid portion. The flexible portion is configured to radially expand and longitudinally compress upon a force applied to the first end of the flexible portion to compress the collapsible cartridge between the flexible portion and an interior surface of a support cartridge.
DEVICE FOR PREPARING A COSMETIC COMPOSITION, SET OF CAPSULES AND ASSOCIATED PREPARATION PROCESS
Device for preparing a cosmetic composition, set of capsules and associated preparation process The invention relates to a device (10) for preparing a cosmetic composition comprising: a structure (28) defining a housing (30) extending along a longitudinal axis (X-X), a piston (36) movable in translation in relation to the structure (28) along the longitudinal axis (X-X) in the housing (30), and an outlet nozzle (32) opening at one end of the housing (30), suitable for being fluidically connected to a receptacle. The housing (30) receives removably a plurality of capsules (16) aligned coaxially along the longitudinal axis (X-X), at least one of the capsules (16) containing at least one constituent of the cosmetic composition (12). The piston (36) is mounted movable through the capsules (16) to successively perforate each capsule (36) and convey contents of each capsule (16) to the outlet nozzle (32).
Multi-chamber hypochlorous acid dispenser
The invention provides a skin disinfectant for treating skin with eczema, preventing bacterial proliferation, and removing biofilm. Compositions of the invention include hypochlorous acid, acetic acid, water, and one or more additives or excipients. The formulation process removes metal ions, reduces ionic strength, controls pH, and reduces exposure to air, thus improving stability and lengthening shelf-life.
KIT FOR HOUSEHOLD MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A repair kit for use in repairing damaged portions of a surface or adhering objects and methods of using the repair kit are described herein. The repair kit comprises a housing having a first end and as second end, packaging in the form of a sealed container enclosing a resin component and a reactive component that react to form a polymeric composite material when mixed, a dispensing cap configured to engage with the first end of the housing and a pusher configured to engage with a second end of the housing. The sealed container includes a first removable divider engaged with the sealed container in a manner to form and create a first compartment and a second compartment. The polymeric composite material of the repair kit may be used as an adhesive, as a filler or sealant to repair damaged surfaces, pavements, walls, and wooden materials, and as a coating.
Support structure having varying inner diameter for pressing a multi-component composition out of a coaxial cartridge without restoring force
A system for storing and dispensing a flowable multi-component composition contains a coaxial cartridge and a support structure. The coaxial cartridge has a hollow-cylindrical inner wall, a outer wall arranged coaxially around the inner wall, an inner chamber for a first component that is delimited radially by the inner wall, an outer chamber for a second component that lies radially between the inner wall and outer wall, and a front wall which firmly closes the two chambers on an end face of the cartridge and has a dispensing opening in each chamber. The support structure is designed to receive and hold the cartridge, and has a side wall shaped like a tube portion. An inner diameter of the side wall is varied or can be adjusted in the axial and/or radial direction of the support structure, adjusted when the cartridge is inserted and removed, or adjusted during the pressing-out process.
Two-component piston for a cartridge, and a cartridge
A method of making a two-component piston, the two-component piston including a piston cover as the first component and a piston body as the second component. The piston cover is arranged adjacent to the piston body and is configured to be moved relative to the piston body.
