CLOSABLE COOKING POUCH
A closable cooking pouch includes a heat resistant pouch body with a flap attached to it. The flap is tuckable into an opening the permits access to the pouch's interior. To close the pouch, the flap is tucked into the pouch's interior and a hook portion that forms part of the flap is inserted through a slot on the pouch body. Once through the slot, the hook portion retains at least a portion of the flap in the slot when the pouch is closed and typically provides sufficient retaining force to keep the pouch closed if it is flipped while being used for cooking. The pouch may be manufactured from a single sheet of material.
Cooking method and apparatus
An ovenable cooking apparatus for facilitating the cooking of food components while maintaining the separateness thereof may include a first container for holding a first food component, and a second container for holding a second food component. The separation of the first food component from the second food component maintains the surface area for the first and second food components to facilitate heating of the first and second food components. The first food component may have a liquid based content for producing steam when heated, and one or both of the first container and the second container may define a passage for providing airflow and steam flow for contacting the second container and/or the second foodstuff and heating or steaming the second food component. Additionally, the second container may be steam impermeable for cooking bread and the like.
STEAM-RELEASING FLAT POUCH
The steam-releasing flat pouch comprises a seal part, a steam-releasing seal part, and a steam discharge part. The seal part seals stacked sheets. The steam-releasing seal part is located in the inner parts of the sheet inside the seal part, and is configured to join parts of the sheet so that they are not continuous with the seal part. The steam discharge part is formed in the steam-releasing seal part and configured not to allow communication with the outside when the steam-releasing seal part is not peeled, and to allow communication with the outside when the steam-releasing seal part is peeled. The steam-releasing seal part includes an anterior peeling part including a part that peels apart first as the pressure increases, and a posterior peeling part including a part that peels apart last. The width of the posterior peeling part is smaller than the width of the anterior peeling part.

PACKAGING FOR COOKING FOOD
A packaging device including a breathable or non-breathable, microwavable composite film structure n the form of a bag, a tray or other type of container is disclosed. The device may include atmospheric control attributes n the form of microperforations, and steam venting mechanisms n the form of precision cuts or channels. The microperforations may form atmospheric conditions within the device for the storage of perishable and/or respiring food products, and the steam venting mechanisms may regulate the pressure and/or heat within the device during microwave cooking of the food products within.
FLEXIBLE FOOD PACKAGING AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A flexible food package comprising: a layered containment structure comprising a first-sheet, a second-sheet and a dividing-sheet, wherein the dividing sheet has a first surface and a second surface, and the first-sheet is provided on the first surface of the dividing-sheet to define a sealed food-pouch. The second-sheet is provided on the second surface of the dividing-sheet to define a sealed utensil-pouch. The flexible food package comprises a utensil within the utensil-pouch and one or more food items within the food-pouch. In some examples the second-sheet is provided on the second surface of the dividing-sheet to define a sealed second-pouch with one or more first food items within the food-pouch and one or more second food items within the second-pouch.

Foods in food container, and heating device for foods in food container
A heating device for a food item in a food container includes the food container that contains the food items, a cooking container that contains the food container, and a steam generation device that supplies steam into the cooking container. The food container has an opening hole that communicates with an internal space and an external space, and at least one of a food surrounding space provided between an inner wall of the food container and the food items, and between the food items. The food surrounding space and the external space are communicated with each other through the opening hole, and steam is supplied into the cooking container to heat the food items by the steam. Thereby, the heating device for a food item in a food container that can subject the food item in the cooking container to steam heating can be provided.
Monoaxially oriented multilayer cast film
Multilayer cast film, which is oriented in machine direction and comprises at least one outer layer, one core layer and one sealing layer, as well as its use in retort stand up pouches.
