Plyometric fitness platform with constrained adjustability
Disclosed are systems and methods for plyometric fitness systems that facilitate constrained multi-directional movements. By utilizing a variety of constrained elastic resistance cords in conjunction with plyometric platform stations and performance patterns, this system enhances dimension, capability and variety to conventional agility and jumping drills. The disclosed plyometric platforms are designed for contrast training, or resistance loaded and unloaded exercises. This allows the muscles to adapt to the loaded exercises and then apply the learned movement to the unloaded exercise. This directly reinforces the movement and muscle exertion needed to perform powerful movements thereby enhancing athletic performance.
Multi-purpose exercise device
A multi-purpose fitness bar capable of being asymmetrically weighted. The fitness bar has a frame consisting of three arms, multiple handholds and elevated risers. The handholds are in a multitude of positions and angles to provide variability in training. Each arm is capable of being independently loaded with one or more removable weights to produce a symmetric or asymmetric weight load to provide increased torque with movement of the device as well as driving the body in movement patterns consistent with function. The elevated risers provide a space between the body of the device and floor to provide push-up function of the device by protecting the users hands from contact with the ground. The arms of the device may also provide attachments for resistance band use to provide another loading mechanism for strength development.
Athletic training boot
A training boot having a half-platform sole, a boot upper disposed on the half-platform sole, and a weight housing disposed on the upper. A receptacle fastening member is disposed on the boot, configured and arranged for attaching a resistance band. The sole has a tread, which is interchangeable. A sensor housing is disposed on or in the boot. A heel strap is attached to the boot. Hooks or rings are attached to the half-platform sole, configured and arranged for attaching a resistance band. A training boot system includes two training boots with a resistance band removably attaching to the two boots.
Takeoff Point Marker Assembly
A device for marking a starting point on a running track. A plurality of spikes is affixed to a bottom surface of a planar member. A top surface of the planar member can receive print thereon. The plurality of spikes can be inserted into a running track. A plurality of conical covers houses the plurality of spikes when the plurality of spikes is not inserted into a running track. The planar member can be rectangular with a spike disposed in each corner on the bottom surface.
Workout bag assemblies
A workout bag assembly including a tubular body having a closed end and an accessible end. The tubular body defines an interior divided into at least two compartments by a partition. The tubular body also has an exterior with two inner handles side-by-side along a length of the tubular body and two end handles. Each end handle is adjacent to a respective end. A partition divides an interior of the tubular body into a first compartment and a second compartment. Three tubes can receive a weighted material. The first compartment is sized and configured to snugly hold one of the three tubes when filled, and the second compartment is sized and configured to snugly hold two of the three tubes when filled.
FULL BODY EXERCISE APPARATUS
A portable exercise apparatus utilized for exercising, stretching, and training multiple muscle groups of the body of a user. The apparatus is adapted to be worn about the waist or carried as a bandolier about the user's body. The apparatus has at least one releasably closable pocket and fixation rings for securing and carrying accessories, such as attachable handles, suspension lines, and elastic bands. The apparatus and methods of use provide the user with a plurality of configurations for assisted exercise regimens and the flexibility to exercise anywhere.
CHEERLEADING STUNT PRACTICE DEVICE
A practice device for simulating a cheerleading stunt includes a frame that has a base plate and a top plate; a tubular shaft that extends between the base and top plates; a weight that is disposed in the tubular shaft; a spring that is disposed in the tubular shaft and that contacts and biases the weight; a shoe structure; and a mount that supports the shoe structure at one end thereof and that is constructed and arranged to be disposed within the tubular shaft with the spring disposed between the weight and the mount.
PORTABLE TRAINING DEVICE
A portable training device includes a structural component including a weighted mass; and first and second elongate arms associated with and extending symmetrically from opposite sides of the weighted mass, the arms being resiliently biased to a rest position in which the arms form a fixed, generally U-shape together with the weighted mass, the arms being universally manipulable against the bias out of the rest position.
