Dispenser for viscous materials
10787306 · 2020-09-29 · ·

A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material contained in a flexible package includes a body extending along a longitudinal axis that has a first end, an opposite second end, a cavity configured to receive the flexible package, and a handle assembly coupled to the first end. The handle assembly has a fixed handle, a trigger pivotally coupled to the fixed handle, and a rod extending between the fixed handle and the trigger into the cavity. A plurality of dispensing valves are positioned at the second end of the body and configured to dispense the viscous material, and a piston is movably disposed in the cavity for engagement with the flexible package. As the trigger is pivoted toward the fixed handle, the rod moves along the longitudinal axis toward the piston such that the piston engages the flexible package and the viscous material dispenses through the plurality of dispensing valves.

Cartridge, core, mold and method of manufacturing a cartridge

A cartridge for a medium to be dispensed includes a head part having a dispensing outlet and a film forming a cartridge wall, with the film surrounding a cartridge chamber for the medium to be dispensed, extending at least partially (along an axial extension) in a longitudinal direction of the cartridge and having a front end being connected to the head part. The film is preferably a multilayer film having at least two layers formed from different materials, and the front end of the film is sealingly and non-releasably embedded in the head part of the cartridge, so that an end face of the front end of the film is covered, in particular completely covered, by the head part.

PASTY FOOD PRODUCT DISPENSING AND DOSING DEVICE
20200283199 · 2020-09-10 ·

A pasty food dispensing and dosing device for pasty food products packed in sachets. The device does not require a power source and can be used in a hygienic way, since the product does not contact any part of the device. Thus, beneficial, practical, safe and functional results are attained. The device comprises a base, a cap connected to a lock, and a trigger lever that activates a system that secures and controls the opening of a dispensing nozzle of the sachet so that the nozzle opens and the product is dispensed. When returned to an initial position, the system stretches the dispensing nozzle to prevent the product from exiting. The dosage of the product is regulated by a dosing system that triggers two spindles with helical grooves located inside the base to rotate through orifices of a piston, which displaces the piston and compresses the sachet.

Dispensing system and method of making and using the same

A dispenser includes a body (10) the body including an asymmetric shape corresponding to a flattened product pouch. The body includes a row of teeth (42) extending longitudinally along the bottom of the body. A grip (28) is slidingly engaged with a bottom of the body and is coupled to a squeeze pusher (32) disposed within the interior space of the body. An actuator arm (30) is movably attached to the grip. A drive mechanism is movably attached to the actuator and is engageable with the row of teeth. For dispensing, movement of the actuator causes a corresponding movement of the drive mechanism which causes the grip and squeeze pusher to move relative to the body in a direction from the proximal end to the dispensing end, thus applying pressure to the pouch.

Food container and dispenser

A portable food carrier is disclosed, including a flexible, compressible outer container body and an internal lift having a tapered bottom. The tapered bottom of the lift is particularly configured to allow a user to grasp the carrier and squeeze the container body at the location of the taper, causing the lift to move upward in the container, in turn pushing food product located above the lift toward an open, top mouth of the container, where the user may then access and eat the food product. The lift is configured to interact with the interior of the container in such a way so as to assist the user in maintaining smooth movement as the user squeezes the outside of the container, thus making it optimized for use with only one hand.

Fluid Dispensing System

A variety of dispensing manifolds which are removable connectable to a single deformable container having a single exit portion are disclosed. The dispensing manifolds of the present disclosure provide a single deformable container having a single exit with one or more outlets from which a fluid can be controllably dispensed. The present disclosure also provides a single force generation mechanism, a deformable container holding a fluid or substance, and dispensing mechanisms all on one machine, i.e., a carrier; a system that may also include a pressurized air source that assists a flow of a fluid; and a system that allows for a continuous flow a substance. The systems of the present disclosure provide a deformable container and a method of dispensing wherein, during dispensing, an actuation member is continuously free of contact with the fluid or substance within the container and the actuation member only contacts the exterior surface of the deformable container.

CONTAINER FOR TACTILE INTERACTION WITH FOOD

Pet owners cannot tactilely examine, or experience food contained in rigid packaging. This product experience at the point of purchase requires pliable or flexible packaging. However, pliable or flexible packaging has limited ability to stack, both on the store shelf, as well as in the pet owner's pantry. Provided is a multi-functional container for moist or wet, textured food. The container has rigid sidewalls, a bottom with at least a portion made from a flexible or pliable material or membrane or that provides access to a bag of a flexible or pliable material or membrane, and a lid to seal the opening of the container or the bag. Since the food contacts the flexible or pliable material or membrane, it can be tactilely examined at the point of purchase. If the material or membrane is transparent, the food can also be visibly examined at the point of purchase.

A container for product to be dispensed takes the form a body defining a compartment for storing frozen confection such as ice cream and sorbet, and a receptacle releasably coupled with the body. The body has a lower region with an outlet through which the frozen confection to be dispensed from the compartment. The receptacle defines an open chamber, when decoupled from the container, for receiving frozen confection dispensed through said outlet. An external profile of the body is configured to nest with internal profile of the receptacle, with the outlet of the body covered by the receptacle when the receptacle is releasably coupled with the body. An internal surface of the receptacle is configured to engage an external surface of the body, for releasably coupling the receptacle with the body.

Gas cell driven fluid delivery device for spill-resistant storage and use
10696468 · 2020-06-30 · ·

An orientation independent delivery device including a replaceable cartridge that may be installed on a foundation. A cartridge includes a gas chamber, a delivery chamber, a gas cell, and a delivery aperture. The gas chamber includes a gas-side rigid portion and a gas-side flexible barrier. The gas-side flexible barrier is sealed to the gas-side rigid portion. The delivery chamber includes a delivery-side rigid portion and a delivery-side flexible barrier. The delivery-side flexible barrier is sealed to the delivery-side rigid portion and is oriented adjacent to the gas-side flexible barrier. The gas cell is coupled to the gas-side rigid portion of the gas chamber. The gas cell increases a gas pressure within the gas chamber to expand the gas-side flexible barrier. Expansion of the gas-side flexible barrier applies a compressive force to the delivery-side flexible barrier allowing a delivery material to escape from the delivery chamber.

CIGARETTE PACKAGE

A cigarette pack with an outer pack in the embodiment as a hinge lid box and with an inner pack as a sealed block is provided with an opening tab for the inner pack and with a closure label for actuating the opening tab. The closure label is fixed on the inner side of a lid front wall by means of an actuating tab and is movable with the lid into the opening position.
