GLOVES WITH SENSORS FOR MONITORING AND ANALYSIS OF POSITION, PRESSURE AND MOVEMENT

Sensing devices including pliable e-textile pressure sensors are used in gloves intended to be worn against a user's hand, or a portion of a user's hand. Additional sensors, such as accelerometer(s), gyroscope(s) and geo-referencing sensor(s), may be incorporated in electronic devices that interface electronically with the pressure sensors and are mounted on or in proximity to a glove when in use. Systems and methods for storing, communicating, processing, analyzing and displaying data collected by sensor components for remote monitoring of conditions at hand surfaces, position and orientation data, movement data, and the like, are also disclosed. Sensors and sensor systems provide substantially real-time feedback relating to current body conditions, orientation and movement, and may provide notifications or alerts to users, coaches, etc., enabling early intervention when conditions indicate intervention is appropriate.

Method for continuous measurement of and regulatory feedback for strength-training

It is described a method for continuous measurement of, and regulatory feedback for, strength-training where the reaction forces from a person with a lifting weight that is standing on a surface, is transferred through the surface, said method comprising the following steps: a. measure a force in vertical direction (Z-direction) on one or more plates attached to one or more load cells; b. use the force measurement in step a) to continuous calculating the velocity of, and relative movement of the combined center of mass of the person and the lifting weight, c. provide feedback in real-time to the user, where the feedback relates to velocity and/or lifting distance in relation to predefined values and/or generated values, in order to the user to adjust the training based on the feedback.

INTERACTION OF FANTASY SPORTS WITH LIVE SPORTS VIEWING

A fantasy sports management system provides an interaction between fantasy sports and real-time sporting events. In embodiments, the system receives real-time statistical information regarding a plurality of sports players participating in one or more real-time sporting events. The sports players are assigned to teams in a fantasy sports league. The system outputs, on a display of a device of one of the users of the fantasy sports league, the real-time statistical information of the plurality of sports players that are on the user's roster of sports players. In response to the real-time statistical information of one of the sports players on the user's roster exceeding a threshold (e.g., the team of the one of the sports players entering the red zone), the system provides the user with an option to view the real-time sporting event in which the one player is participating in.
