Packaging Assembly with Mounting Attachment
A packaging assembly includes a case configured to hold at least one injection device for delivering a medicament and a mounting attachment configured to be attached to the case. The case includes one or more magnets for attaching the mounting attachment to the case and an external face of the case is formed having a recess configured to receive at least part of the mounting attachment.
Tip protector device
The present invention relates to a tip protector device for a medical instrument, such as an endoscope or borescope. The tip protector device according to the present invention comprises a housing configured to releasably receive a tip of a medical instrument, a clamping system configured to retain by clamping the tip received by the housing in a retaining position and a locking system configured to perform a locking step, wherein the locking step comprises, successively, the locking and unlocking of the clamping system in the retaining position. The tip protector further comprises a blocking element, wherein the blocking element is configured to block the locking system after repeated use of the device. The present invention also relates to a method of protecting the tip of a medical instrument.
Sterilization tray protection mechanisms
A sterilization wrap system with features for protecting a sterilization wrap and/or a sterilization tray of the sterilization wrap system is provided. Such features include strap or belt protectors, edge protectors, corner protectors, and/or expandable protectors, which each may provide protection of one or more areas of the sterilization wrap and/or tray when positioned against an outer surface of the wrap and/or between an inner surface of the wrap and a container for holding implements to be sterilized. A size-selectable protection system also is provided. The size-selectable protection system provides a material having a plurality of perforations such that a length of the material may be selected and detached from the rest of the material. The selected length of material may be used with a sterilization wrap system to protect a sterilization wrap and/or sterilization tray from cuts, tears, or the like.
HINGED BLADE DISPENSER
According to an embodiment, a blade dispenser includes a body portion; and a lid portion slidable relative to the body portion to move the blade dispenser between a closed configuration and an extended configuration. The lid portion comprises a first lid portion having a first blade chamber and a second lid portion having a second blade chamber. The first lid portion and the second lid portion are coupled by a hinge portion configured to permit the first lid portion to pivot relative to the second lid portion to move the blade dispenser from the extended configuration to an open configuration. In the open configuration blades may be removed from or inserted into both the first blade chamber and the second blade chamber.

Safety-Blade Dispenser and Related Methods
Safety-blade dispensers for safely storing surgical blades prior to surgery and optionally for retrieving used surgical blades after surgery. In either case, the safety-blade dispenser is configured to store one or more surgical blades in an orientation that allows a user to simply and safely attach a surgical tool handle to the surgical blades (and optionally remove the handle from the surgical blades) without requiring the user to physically touch or manipulate the surgical blades by hand. The safety-blade dispensers disclosed herein may be used alone or in conjunction with a system and method of preventing wrong-site surgery.

Medical device package
In some examples, a medical device package may include a backing card that is configured to secure a medical device to a major surface of the backing card. The backing card is configured to be assembled from an open state into a closed state in which flaps on one or more ends of a central region of the backing card move over some of the central region and cover some of the secured medical device. The closed state defines a reduced footprint relative to the unfolded state. The backing card may be sealed in a pouch, which may then be housed in a carton. The carton includes exterior walls that enclose the sealed backing card and spacing elements that receive the sealed backing card at a relative location within the carton and holds the backing card a threshold distance from the exterior walls of the carton.
Packaging Assembly with Mounting Attachment
A packaging assembly comprises a case configured to hold at least one injection device for delivering a medicament; and a mounting attachment configured to be attached to the case. The case comprises one or more magnets for attaching the mounting attachment to the case, and an external face of the case is formed having a recess configured to receive at least part of the mounting attachment.
Mixing/administration syringe devices, protective packaging and methods of protecting syringe handlers
Medicant mixing/administration systems are provided that can include: a medicant vial; a syringe assembly comprising a barrel and a piston; a protective material supporting the syringe assembly and medicant vial; and a member within the system, the member separating the piston of the syringe assembly from the medicant vial. Systems are provided that can include: a syringe assembly comprising a barrel and a piston; having a forward end and an opposing back end; a protective material supporting the syringe assembly; and a needle housing coupled to the protective material. Medicant mixing/administration methods are also provided that can include, within a package, sufficiently clearing a restraining member from between a medicant vial and syringe plunger to pierce the medicant vial with a piercing structure coupled to the syringe plunger, the piercing providing medicant from the vial to the syringe assembly. Additional methods can include, upon opening a package containing a syringe assembly, extending a needle housing from the package.
