METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DISPENSING

In some embodiments, the instant invention provides an exemplary method for dispensing that at least includes: initiating a movement of a dispensing object along a dispensing passage of a dispensing device; determining, by a displacement sensor, a magnitude of a displacement of the dispensing object along the dispensing passage based on remotely measuring, by the displacement sensor, a characteristic associated with the dispensing object during the movement of the dispensing object along the dispensing passage; generating an indication by the displacement sensor when the magnitude of the displacement is equal to or exceeds a pre-determined distance value; separating, based on the indication, a portion from the dispensing object to form a remaining portion of the dispensing object and a separated portion of the dispensing object; and dispensing the separated portion of the dispensing object from the dispensing device.

Generation and distribution of named, definable, serialized tokens

A method for generating and distributing serialized tokens is provided. The method may include receiving a request from at least one client. The method may further include determining whether the received at least one request is a request for generating names and definitions for a group of serialized tokens, deleting a names and definitions, and/or receiving a group of serialized tokens. Additionally, the method may include enabling the at least one client to generate names and definitions for a group of serialized tokens. The method may also include storing the names and definitions on a server. The method may also include deleting the names and definitions from the server. The method may also include formatting and distributing serialized tokens based on the names and definitions for the serialized tokens. The method may further include sending a response to the client based on the received request.

Lottery ticket pack and associated method for unwrapping the pack and connecting lottery tickets of adjacent packs

A lottery ticket pack and associated method for manipulating such packs is provided. Each individual lottery ticket pack is wrapped with a wrapping material, and a label is adhered to the wrapping material. The label includes a first portion permanently adhered to the wrapping material and a second portion having a releasable adhesive applied to a surface thereof. The label is grasped and pulled away from the ticket pack in a manner that causes the permanently adhered first portion of the label to tear the wrapping material from the ticket pack. Then, the remaining wrapping material is manually removed from the pack. The second portion of the label is used to connect the last ticket in the ticket pack to a first ticket in a separate unwrapped ticket pack by pressing the side of the second portion containing the releasable adhesive across aligned ends of the adjacent tickets.
