A fitness apparatus for enabling numerous different fitness routines on a single piece of apparatus and having two side assemblies each having upright metal bars of hollow tubular construction each having fastening holes along its length, generally L-shaped junction portions of said upright bars of similar hollow tubular material and having fastening holes therealong, cross members extending between the two side assemblies holding them in spaced apart locations, floor rests on both side assemblies, a first fitness exercise attachment secured to one of the side assemblies, and, a second fitness exercise attachment, different from the first fitness exercise attachment, secured to the other side assemblies.

A striking bag features a resiliently flexible foam tube, and a striking surface that is connected to an end of the flexible tube to hang therefrom in an exposed position strikeable from below. A threaded rod projects from an upper end of the flexible tube for coupling with a surface mount that is fastened to a ceiling or other suitable overhead surface. The surface mount features a rigid portion into which the threaded rod is threaded. The foam of the tube and the threaded rod solely define a resiliency by which the tube flexes and returns to a normal straight position relative to the ceiling mount. A fabric loop at a bottom of the striking surface allows selective connection of a stretchable tether between the striking surface and a ground based tether point to change a responsive character of the striking bag and enable two distinctive modes of use.

A combat training device is disclosed that may include an elongated support having a shoulder rest at a rearward end and a punching target at a forward end. The punching target may be attached to a neck support adapted for removable engagement with the forward end of the elongated support. The device may further include a punching assembly having a reciprocating support with a handle at its rearward end and a punching member at its forward end. The reciprocating support may be disposed for longitudinal movement in generally parallel relationship to the elongated support. The reciprocating support may be rotatably disposed within a longitudinal bore that is disposed in generally parallel relationship to the elongated support and reciprocating support. The shoulder rest may be releasably engageable with the rearward end of the elongated support and moveable between adjustable locked positions, such as through the use of a detent mechanism. A punching target holder may be provided for attachment to a punching bag for use in removably attaching a neck support and attached punching target to the punching bag.

A strike recording punching bag assembly includes a striking pad that is positionable at a beneficial location for striking training for receiving strikes from a trainee. A striking panel is positioned within the striking pad and the striking panel has a plurality of depressions therein. A plurality of pressure sensors is each of the pressure sensors is integrated into the striking pad to sense pressure from strikes delivered to the striking pad. Additionally, each of the pressure sensors is positioned in a respective depression. A transmitter is integrated into the striking pad and the transmitter is in communication with each of the pressure sensors. The transmitter is in wireless communication with an extrinsic electronic device wherein the transmitter is configured to facilitate the extrinsic electronic device to display the pressure sensed by the pressure sensors for enhancing feedback to the trainee.

The present subject matter relates to a martial arts weapons kit that includes two or more stick segments and one or more connectors configured for connecting the two or more stick segments together into one of a variety of martial arts weapons configurations.

The present invention provides an exercise and training device. The exercise and training device is adapted to be removably mounted to a vertical structure. The exercise and training device includes a paddle member that provides target surfaces; a support member that facilitates in aligning of the exercise and training device when mounted to the vertical structure; and a mounting member that mounts the exercise and training device about the vertical structure.

A physical activity training system operative in conjunction with at least one physical target with which the trainee is expected to interact in trainee activity modes, the system comprising sensor module/s operative to execute real-time measurements of aspect/s of the trainee's interaction with the target, without imaging the trainee; and an output generator including indicator/s operative to enter selectable trainee-detectable states each for a respective time period, thereby to indicate to the trainee which of the trainee activity modes governs (e.g. is in effect) within each time period, and a processor operative to monitor at least one trainee's interaction with the target within the modes, at least by generating, for storage in computer memory, time-stamped records of the modes or states and associated with the records, trainee scores derivable from the measurements generated by the module.

A protection device for a holder of a martial arts board/target provides protection from direct impact and/or from the force/shock that is transmitted rearward to the hand and wrists of the holder of the board/target. The device receives the board/target holder's fingers, and a slanted floor inside the device urges the fingers into a generally curled or other inwardly-slanted position, and urges the rest of the hand, the wrist, and forearm into ergonomic and safer positions. The device is preferably made of material(s) in a particular hardness range that protects the user's fingers but that also prevents injury to the striker who is hitting/kicking the board/target. There are preferably no flanges or stops that limit placement of the device to particular places on the board, but rather the holder determines and controls the placement.

A device is provided for martial arts training. The device includes a mount and a board holder configured to hold at least one training board. The board holder is adapted to removably connect to the mount at a plurality of different heights. The mount includes a ladder portion connected to a pair of upstanding legs and the mount is foldable between a stored position and a working position.
