Exercise apparatus and method
An apparatus including an elongated foam piece first and second ends; and a suction cup attached to the elongated foam piece at the first end. The elongated foam piece may be a cylindrical foam piece. The suction cup is typically removably attached to the elongated foam piece. The apparatus may further include a plate to which the suction cup is removably attached. The plate typically has an outer diameter larger than an outer diameter of the suction cup. The apparatus may include a weight attached to the plate, underneath the plate, opposite from where the suction cup is removably attached to the plate. A plurality of such apparatuses, spaced apart from each other, may be attached to a surface by suction; and a plurality of exercises using each of the plurality of apparatuses may be performed, such as by contacting or weaving in and out of the apparatuses.
Robotic training apparatus
A robotic training apparatus for martial arts and combat sports that is of a dimension like a punching bag and can be hung or mounted on a floor. The apparatus includes a frame, an upper revolving member and a lower revolving member mounted to the frame, wherein the two members can revolve independently of each other along a vertical axis. A pair of robotic arms coupe to the upper revolving member can be actuated to resemble a punching action. A pair of robotic legs coupled to the lower revolving member can be actuated to resemble a kicking action. Both the pair of robotic arms and the pair of robotic legs horizontally extends from the upper revolving member and the lower revolving member respectively.
Tool for martial arts training
A grappling dummy of humanoid shape is described. The grappling dummy offers a strategically sound and versatile posture for more realistic martial arts training by holding a realistic guard position. The dummy is comprised of an envelope, to be filled with any material to give it the desired weight and consistency. When filled, the tensile strength of the envelope and filling allow the limbs of the grappling dummy to retract to their resting guard position when extended. Due to the dummy's resting posture with knees above the hip line and elbows in front of and covering the torso, this grappling dummy may be placed in a variety of positions including supine, seated, and turtle, and thus offers a more versatile and realistic training experience.
Multi-assembly board holding apparatus
An apparatus for holding one or more boards during martial arts training, includes a support frame configured to hold various training station assemblies, each of the station assemblies structured differently to provide different training functionality, the first station including a number of plates that work together to hold the board(s) at a position such that upon striking of the board(s) a portion of the first station collapses to allow for follow through during the striking motion, the second station including a number of plates that work together to the board(s) at a desired and modifiable angle, and the third station being configured to hold the board(s) at a hanging position beyond the profile of the support frame, which may be positioned on a support base resting on a horizontal surface such as a floor or may be directly affixed to a vertical surface such as a wall.

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING DEVICE
A martial arts training device including a support frame, a first central pad, and a second central pad. The first central pad is supported from the support frame and includes a convex surface for receiving punches and the second central pad is supported from the support frame below the first central pad and also includes a convex surface for receiving punches. The convex surface of the first central pad is tilted downwardly relative to the convex surface of the second central pad.
Gloves with a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves with a cut out portion
Embodiments of golf gloves having a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves having a cut out portion are generally described herein. Other embodiments of gloves may be described and claimed.
Privacy-preserving machine learning in the three-server model
Methods and systems according to embodiments of the invention provide for a framework for privacy-preserving machine learning which can be used to obtain solutions for training linear regression, logistic regression and neural network models. Embodiments of the invention are in a three-server model, wherein data owners secret-share their data among three servers who train and evaluate models on the joint data using three-party computation (3PC). Embodiments of the invention provide for efficient conversions between arithmetic, binary, and Yao 3PC, as well as techniques for fixed-point multiplication and truncation of shared decimal values. Embodiments also provide customized protocols for evaluating polynomial piecewise functions and a three-party oblivious transfer protocol.
MODULAR TOOLS AND SYSTEMS FOR PRACTICING INDIGENOUS FIGHTING ARTS, PARTICULARLY, GUARDIAN ART
Guardian Art training tools including efficiently and functionally created low-cost apparatus manifested in a plurality of elastically deformable modular polyhedral members, with striking surfaces angled in ordinal planes and elastic deformation in tower structures made from the polyhedral members attached by Velcro® brand of attachments, inter alia.
Exercise apparatus
Four striking panels having wireless sensors are arranged such that at least one striking panel is: in front of an athlete, behind the athlete, to the right of the athlete, and to the left of the athlete. A display is situated in front of the athlete. Randomly, a particular striking panel is presented on the display during an exercise routine. When the athlete strikes the appropriate corresponding panel based on detection of a wireless signal provided by the corresponding wireless sensor, a next randomly selected panel is presented on the display. This continues for a particular number of times or for a particular elapsed period of time. Response time metrics are retained for the routine and provided at the conclusion of routine.
