Apparatus for connected hair pigment dispenser
11918098 · 2024-03-05 · ·

The present invention is directed to a Hair Pigment Dispensing (HPD) device that may be connected to the internet and intended for professional hairstylists to prepare their hair color formulations. Hair dying is a process that can take several hours and requires precise measurements, high attention to detail, and informed decision making. Not to mention, hair dying requires a large inventory of products to be readily available to the hairstylist. The present invention aims to decrease errors in product measurement, inventory size, and time spent mixing hair color ingredients to improve the overall experience for both the hairstylist and the client. Furthermore, the present invention provides the advantage of storing data from various client mixtures either locally or within a cloud server so that a customer can receive uniform coloring.

ACTUATOR ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME

In various implementations, a self-coupling initiator includes one or more integrated features that allow the initiator to be installed within a housing tube without a forming or fastening operation. For example, in some implementations, the integrated features are able to be coupled to a drop protection cap. The drop protection cap extends around at least a portion of a head portion of the initiator and abuts the structure of the outer housing so that force imparted on the drop protection cap from a drop test is transferred to a direct compression load on the cap and housing, instead of the force being transferred to the initiator. In addition, in some implementations, the initiator may include one or more clip features that allow the initiator to clip into the housing. In such embodiments, the drop protection cap may also prevent the clips from being disengaged with the housing.

Aerosol actuators, devices and methods of making and using the same

Aerosol actuation mechanisms include improvements allowing a user to extend the reach of an aerosol application device, apply an aerosol in a windy environment, improve coverage of the aerosol product, or facilitate improved ability to ensure coverage for an aerosol product.
