Receptacle for storing a substance
A receptacle for storing a substance, wherein the receptacle has a cartridge and a valve. A valve inner side is here covered by a sealing element, with the result that a receptacle volume is substantially delimited by the cartridge and the sealing element.

A DEVICE FOR DELIVERING A PRESSURIZED MATERIAL
A device for dispensing a pressurized material, includes a body defining a pressurizing chamber containing a gas generator, a tank for containing the material that is to be delivered, and a piston, the gas generator being configured so that when it is triggered it causes the device to pass from a material-storage, first configuration to an end-of-material-dispensing, second configuration. In the first configuration, the piston is held in position in the body by an elastically deformable holder element extending axially, that is secured to the first end wall. The piston is held stationary relative to the first end wall by a holding force from the holder element. When the gas generator is triggered, it exerts a force on the piston that opposes the holding force to enable the piston to move by releasing the first end wall and thus causing the device to pass from the first to second configuration.

A DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A PRESSURIZED MATERIAL
A device for dispensing a pressurized material, includes a body defining a pressurizing chamber containing a gas generator, and a tank containing the material to be dispensed, the tank being defined by an end wall having an outlet orifice. The device includes a piston, to move inside the body, separating the pressurizing chamber from the tank, the gas generator to trigger the dispensing of the material to the outside of the body through the outlet orifice by causing the piston to pass from a material-storage, first position to an end-of-material-dispensing, second position in which the piston faces the end wall. The piston, when in the first position, presents a housing that is closed by a fragile portion beside the pressurizing chamber and that is open beside the tank, the housing containing a striker element that is held in the housing and that defines a channel opening out into the tank.
VALVE
A valve for a fluid dispensing container includes a mounting cup to be fixed on a container, a housing to be fixed on the mounting cup and defining a channel with an inlet end and an outlet end, whereby a hollow stem is glidingly arranged in the channel. The stem is flange-free and a concentric circumferential conical sealing protrusion on the stem forms the sealing between the outer surface of the stem and the housing. When the stem passes from the open into the closed position, it enters at least partially into the housing without product being retained between the flange of the stem and the housing.

Single action dispensing device with sliding sleeve having a plug
A dispensing device for attaching to a container having a valve stem includes: (a) a hollow tube having a flow channel defined by a wall extending between entrance and exit ends with a connector on the entrance end for connecting to the valve stem; (b) a sleeve extending slidably over a portion of the hollow tube, the sleeve extending over, and having an opening proximate to, the hollow tube's exit end; (c) a sealing gasket around the outside of the hollow tube and between the hollow tube and the sleeve that prevents fluid communication past the gasket between the hollow tube and sleeve; (d) a trigger mount rigidly attached to the hollow tube or container; (e) a trigger hingedly connected at a first location to the trigger mount and operatively engaged with the sleeve at a second location; and (f) an elastic element between the trigger and the hollow tube and/or container.

A dispensing device that attaches to a container has: (a) a hollow tube with opposing entrance and exit ends with a connector on the entrance end and a wall defining a flow channel; (b) a sleeve with opposing entrance and exit ends slidably extending over the hollow tube; (c) a sealing gasket between and contacting the hollow tube and sleeve; (d) a trigger mount rigidly attached to the hollow tube or container; (e) a trigger hingedly connected to the trigger mount and operatively connected to the sleeve; (f) an elastic element between the trigger and the hollow tube and/or container; wherein the exit end is closed and there is an opening through the hollow tube wall proximate to the exit end; the sleeve has an open dispensing end, reduces in inside diameter at dispensing end and engages the hollow tube when closed and disengages from the hollow tube when open.
SPRAYABLE MAPLE SYRUP DISPENSER
Bag-on-valve (BOV) systems adapted to dispense viscous liquids, particularly syrup, which ordinarily crystallize in the presence of atmospheric oxygen and thereby block the flow path from the bag to the exterior of the container. The present systems utilize a BM flow path diameter effective to inhibit crystallization-based blockage. This facilitates storage of syrups art room temperature without needing refrigeration, and allows control over the dispensing amount through the use of a spray actuator. Methods for filling a BOV system with viscous product include a step to remove remnant product in the valve stem which may inhibit initial discharge. Such methods include exposure to a water source to dislodge and remove or dilute the remnant for evaporation or expulsion during initial discharge.
