A device for dispensing pressurized air and/or tire sealant from a pressurized can. The device comprising a cap body, a depressor button with a lock clip, and a hose positioned within the cap body attached to the pressurized can. The lock clip locks the depressor button in the compressed position for ease during use, while a shield element keeps the depressor button in the non-compressed position for safety during non-use. The hose provides an extension to attach to a tire stem valve, while being stored and attached to the cap body of the device.

The oversized actuator and actuator assembly are configured to be attached to what is considered to be a common, standard-sized valve cup (typically about 1.0 to 1.5 inches across) fastened to a common or standard-sized neck portion for a plastic vessel. Therefore, the actuator and actuator assembly of the present invention does not require that the shoulder of the plastic vessel to which they are attached have specialized geometry molded into the shoulder or body portions of the plastic vessel in order to hold the actuator or actuator assembly in place on the plastic vessel.

A compressible gasket is disposed within the channel and compressed between the container cap and the portion of the housing to form a seal that interferes with an escape of the propellant combined with the paint between the container cap and the housing. A releasable fastener engages releasably couples the reusable dispensing apparatus to the container cap.
