The first and second inner volumes combine to provide the total inner volume with each of the first and second inner volumes providing at least 30 percent of the total inner volume. The first box portion and the second box portion are each formed from a unitary sheet of sheetstock material. The clamshell hinge is a living hinge formed in the sheetstock material.

The structure includes a substantially rectangular base divided into first and second portions having trapezoidal rectangular shape. The portions of base are consecutive to each other at a respective edge coincident with the oblique side of the aforesaid trapezoidal shape. A pair of mutually opposed partition walls are connected, by way of a fold, to the portions of base at the aforesaid edges, respectively. The structure further includes four side walls two-by-two mutually opposite with respect to the portions of base and connected to the latter by way of respective folds. Also disclosed is a shoebox including the structure, and to one or more substantially flat elements foldable in suitable manner to obtain such structure.

The present related to a shoe box that accommodates different shoe sizes and styles. In many embodiments the shoe box is provided with a protrusion which limits movement of items within the box. In some embodiments the protrusions are able to be placed in an extended or contracted position. In some embodiments there are a variety of extended positions which a protrusion could be placed in such that the size of the protrusion can be altered based on the size of the contents inside of the shoe box. In some embodiments the protrusion is attached to the shoe box and others it is removably attachable. In other embodiments the protrusion can shift within the shoe box such that the protrusion can be placed in the area which most needs it. This invention beneficially allows different sized items to be securely placed in the same shoe box.

A shoe container stool with a deployable footrest is described herein. The shoe container is in the form of a box having a front wall, a back wall, two side walls, and a top lid. The front wall includes a vertical elongated opening bounded by two side edges and a bottom edge. An elongated board is pivotally connected to the opening by way of an axle to permit the board to be pivoted into and out of the opening. A top portion of the board above the axle may therefore be deployed from the opening to be used as a footrest to help don and doff one's shoes, while the top lid may be used as a seat. The shoe container further includes a shelf inside the box to counter the forces applied to the footrest and also permits a user to store one's shoe inside the shoe container.
