A packaging system and method for securing a product within a shipping container includes providing a shipping container appropriately sized for the product, attaching at least a first shock absorption member to the shipping container for serving as a locator for the product and for positioning the product on the shipping container. Attaching at least a second shock absorption member to the shipping container for, together with the at least a first shock absorption member, securing the product on the shipping container. The shipping container is closed about the product, which is itself suspended by the at least a first shock absorption member and the at least a second shock absorption member.

REUSABLE CONTAINER FOR TRANSPORTING, INSPECTING, AND/OR STORING A FUEL CELL

A reusable container for transporting, inspecting, and/or storing a fuel cell or other item may include a crate or box lined with plurality of cushioning inserts to protect a fuel cell placed within the container, and a plurality of straps that extend inwardly from walls of the container and couplable to the fuel cell. The straps are tensionable to suspend at least a portion of the weight of the fuel cell from the walls of the container while a portion of the fuel cell may rest on top of cushioning inserts at the floor of the container.

An inner tray for battery cell transport includes a base plate extending in a longitudinal direction of a pouch-type battery cell; a plurality of insertion plates erected and located on the base plate, the insertion plates being spaced apart to accommodate a lead of the pouch-type battery cell; and at least one buffer pad located on the base plate and extending in the longitudinal direction to support the pouch-type battery cell.

CAPSULE FOR A SUBSTANTIALLY CYLINDRICAL VESSEL

The present invention relates to a capsule for a substantially cylindrical vessel with a shell surface, an upper open end, and a lower closed end, wherein the shell surface, at least in the area of the open end, is of substantially cylindrical design.

In order to protect substantially cylindrical vessels against breakage in cost-effective manner, it is suggested in the scope of the invention that the shell surface above the closed end comprises at least one means for forming a free space, which is a crimp, directed at least partially inwards on the shell surface.

Here, the capsule is configured in such a way, that it can be fitted onto the bottom-side end of the substantially cylindrical vessel. The tolerance limits of the substantially cylindrical vessel are thereby compensated.

Rotationally stabilized wine bottle with rotationally controlling bumpers

A substantially cylindrical glass bottle that is susceptible to accidental rolling and breakage when stored on its side has been structurally modified by forming a series of between approximately 8 and 24 small protrusions or bumpers spaced apart at regular intervals along either one path or two separated paths around the bottle's circumference at certain distances from the shoulder and base of the bottle. The bumpers project outward between approximately 2 mm to 6 mm from the bottle's outer sidewall surface, and pairs of these bumpers stably support the bottle stored on its side without the bottle rocking or rolling.

Protective Sleeve for Breakable Container

The invention is an impact-resistant elastomeric or silicone sleeve for use on breakable containers such as glass cups, glass bottles, or other any such containers. The components of this protective sleeve or encasing can be used on an adult drinking glass, glass water bottles, glass containers, a glass baby bottle, foods preserved in glass containers, and other industrial or personal uses. The sleeve will serve as protection and shock absorption protecting the breakable containers during use.

Transport device for transporting a delicate object

The invention concerns a transport container for transporting a delicate object, comprising a casing which is divided in a length direction into casing segments (1), provided with at least two upright edges (6) situated spaced apart from one another in a width direction extending transversely to the length direction and divided into edge segments corresponding to the casing segments, wherein two adjacent casing segments together with the corresponding edge segments are foldable about a common rotational axis situated in the plane of the casing, wherein the edge segments are, thanks to a folded structure, rigid in at least one direction perpendicular to the plane of the corresponding casing segments.

Bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles, method for its fabrication as well as for unpacking said bundle

A bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles is provided that includes a longest dimension, a plurality of layers (N.sub.L) of the glass articles, and a thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The plurality of layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions being perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart.

Substrate container and its door assembly, support assembly, and elastic buffer element

A substrate container includes a container body having a storage space and an opening in communication with the storage, a door body disposed at the opening, a limiter disposed on the door body and facing the opening, a supporter disposed on one side of the storage space, and at least two elastic buffer elements tightly disposed between the door body and the limiter and between the supporter and the container body, respectively. A door assembly of a substrate container, a support assembly of a substrate container and an elastic buffer element used in a substrate container are further provided. The elastic buffer element is applied between any two rigid elements in the substrate container to provide a buffer force and an appropriate frictional force, so as to alleviate the problems of impact and dust generated between the rigid elements.
